Not So Annoying

Catarina's POV

Yesterday, after we went to go pick up Kali and Damon, Pattie offered to watch after them while Jason and I went to go see a movie. It was Friday so something new came out today. He wanted to see a bloody movie but I wanted to see something magical and fun. We decided to go see Carrie. I just knew it was going to be a scary movie. But then Jason said, "I've heard that it wasn't the least bit scary. I even heard that it was funny. And it has telekinesis which is like magic." I had no idea what "telekinesis" was. But if it had to do with magic, then it was fine with me!

The movie turned out to be frightening and I nearly peed myself. When we got out the movie theatre, I was kind of crying a little bit. He was laughing at me and I cried even harder because I didn't know why he was laughing. Last time I checked, we just came out of a horror film. And if he thought that was funny, then he needs to go to the loony bin! Of course, people say that I need to go. I don't know why. I'm perfectly normal.Except when I see little people on rollerblades.

After we watched the movie, he took me to a taco place. I didn't really love tacos but I didn't want him to laugh at me again so I ate 2 ½. While he was in the bathroom, I seasoned his taco with Cheyenne Pepper and this sauce that the waitress said would taste good on tacos. I don't think Jason liked it very much because he started choking and fanning his mouth.

If Jade were here, she'd say he looked like "a retarded dragon". I was offended by that statement because no mystical creature was intellectually challenged. I actually didn't know what "intellectually challenged" meant. I heard Gabriella say that to someone before because they said that I was retarded. At the time, I didn't know what "retarded" meant either. But then Jade explained that it meant that you were stupid. Anyway, I used that offensive term because he was scaring me with the way he was acting. I don't think it's nice to offend people.

I was then told that Cheyenne Pepper is really hard to take in if you aren't ready for it. And the sauce was jalapeño pepper. I thought the sauce would have been green if it were jalapeño because aren't jalapeño peppers green? Or was that lime? I don't know. I apologized over and over but he just kept looking at me in that way that he sometimes looks at Alex and that frightened me even more.

After that, he took me back to his house and tried to teach me how to play "I Declare War". When you think about it, you don't actually declare war until you get the same card. I did manage to get a laugh out of him once. I don't know what I did but he laughed, like really laughed, and it was cute and I liked it. I was laughing the whole time, and for once he didn't call it incredibly annoying or anything. It was a good way to end the night.

Since it was dark when he was going to take me home, his mother let him take the car and we loaded my scooter into the back. When we got inside the car, Kali fell right asleep. And Jason turned on some music. With the whole "gang" thing over his head, I expected him to listen to hard metal music or country. But he listened to regular rap and R&B. I liked that. I don't like a lot of rap, but I know some. Troy and Chad listen to it all the time.

The greatest part of the night, though, was when I was finally home. And no, it isn't because I had a sausage sandwich in the fridge that I wanted to eat. I loved it because he allowed me to give him a kiss on the cheek! He said I earned it because I wasn't so annoying. This was a big deal because as you know, he doesn't like to be touched, especially by me. Which I don't even understand since my fingers are magical! I mean, I am a unicorn after all. But I guess not everyone is into that sort of thing.

Jade, Gabriella, Alex, and I were going to the mall today. I was looking forward to updating them on where Jason and I were on our project. Jade and Alex don't take Humanities class. They take some class about War. Jade joined that class because you learn about death and guns and other frightening things. Alex joined, well this is what Gabriella and Jade told me, because all the "hot guys" were in that class. I had to disagree because not all the hot guys were in that class. I mean, Jason (yes, he's making me call him Jason because he said Bikerdude made him sound like a sissy. I didn't agree because bikes are dangerous and takes a lot of leg strength) was in my class. And there was Henry and Jack. All the other boys, though, were severely adorable, or funny looking.
