Prologue

Tris's POV
It's been six years since that joyous day. It had been mine and Gray's fourth anniversary, and we had gone to visit the cemetery where my parents and Althia had been buried. He shocked me by asking my father's grave for its blessing before getting down on one knee, a sparkling silver ring in his palm.
Needless to say, I said yes.
Today, I am currently laying in a hospital bed, a bundle of cloth in my arms. Gray sat on a chair beside me, holding a similar bundle, but it was pink instead of my plain white. Tears leaked out of both of our eyes and I looked down at the tiny creature sleeping in my arms.
"Silver," I cooed, stroking my newborn son's forehead. He had dark, stringly hair, an adorable button nose, and a beauty mark under his right eye.
"Silver?" Gray asked, looking up at me.
"Well, after your dad, of course." He smiled through his tear filled gaze, more tears pouring out. He looked down at the tiny girl he held in his arms. She was Silver's twin sister and her daddy's little princess.
"Thalia."
"Hm?"
"I like the name Thalia... If its okay with you." He flushed. I giggled, reaching my right hand to stroke his damp cheek.
"It's beautiful." He moved his cheek so he could kiss the inside of my hand lovingly. I blushed. Man, I still get these butterflies. Ugh, I love him so much!
From outside of the room, I could hear a heated argument start.
"I'm sorry, but only the father is allowed in right now!" Said the nervous voice of the doctor.
"That's bullshit! Let me in!" Gray sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Here we go," I heard him mumble under his breath.
The next moment, the door was blown off its hinges and Natsu, Lucy and their one year old son, Nashi-an exact copy of his father- walked in.
"Tris!" Lucy jumped with joy, coming to sit next to me on the bed. She looked down at Silver.
"Hewo wittle guy. I'm your aunty Lulu, and if you ever need anything, like reading elaborate languages, I'll be there for you." I chuckled.
"Hey flame-for-brains, why must you always intrude when we are having a moment?!"
"Shut up, ice princess! You're gonna wake up the little ones!" He pulled a chair over and sat next to Gray. He pulled Nashi into his lap and let him look at Thalia.
"This is...?"
"Thalia. The boy is Silver."
"Well, Nashi, remember, these are ice princess's children, so they are your family. But you also have the excuse to beat up Silver whenever you want to." He smiled, evilly.
"Shut up, Natsu. Don't be teaching our boy your evil ways." Lucy scolded.
"Its fine, Lulu. Besides, he is his father's son." I sweat dropped. I looked over to Nashi and his eyes seemed to light up.
"Tha-tha" He cooed. I smiled at his cute attempt of saying Thalia. I started to cry again.
"Honey bun, don't cry," Gray stroked my cheek.
"I know... Its just that..." I said, wiping my swollen eyes.
"Today... Is the best day of my life."
