Chapter 2

Tris's P.O.V
"...Hades?" Gray, Lucy, Natsu, Erza and Adonis turned to look at me, fear in their eyes.
"My child, how nice to see you."
"Mom? Who is this guy?" Silver and Thalia ran up to me, their eyes wide.
Hades looked at the two of them, both saddened and surprised. Hades had never met them, so he was quite distressed.
"Are these...?"
"Why are you here? Has something happened?" I asked, dodging his question. He looked at the kids, then to Gray, then back to me. His expression was bitter, and I felt guilty for not telling him. I hadn't wanted the kids to know about any part of my past, and that included him. A dark aura surrounded him, but before he could do or say anything, the robbed figure beside him placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Calm down, brother." Said a masculine voice.
"Brother?" Gray mumbled as I stared at the figure. Catching my gaze, he began to remove his hood.
The figure had light blue hair that ran past his shoulders, tanned skin, and a pair of sea green eyes that reflected the ocean. Around his head lay a wreathe of shells, and a three pronged spear stood by his side, which he had been concealing behind the long flaps of his robe.
"Posideon..." I said, standing straighter. He bowed in response.
"Why are you here? What has happened?" I repeated, more urgently than before.
"I will explain everything, child." Said the center figure, who began to remove his hood. He had long, white hair that was tied at the end and a white beard that pooled over the neck of the robe. A lightning shaped scar crossed his right eye, his eyes the color of gold. On his head sat a simple, gold ring of a crown. His peach skin was decorated with wounds from battles long ago, which he had preserved as trophies.
My eyes widened, for I knew who this man was.
"I, Zeus, king of the gods and ruler over the sky, come to you with grave news. The titans have returned to Earthland." I gasped, looking over my shoulder to Adonis, who shared my fear. His veins were popped out in fear, his eyes wide as he kept a tight grip on little Lily.
"But how? Weren't they trapped in Tartarus?!" Adonis yelled.
"Unfortunately, it seems Tartarus has been... unlocked... For the second time, I hear." He turned to Hades, who stared down at the burnt ground.
"How?!" I yelled, fear taking hold. Gray held onto me for my support, keeping me steady.
Titans were fearsome creatures, rivaled only to Typhon. They stood tall, their heads touching the sky. Their skin rippled with muscles, bleeding a color of golden blood. They had been thrown into a cell down in Tartarus. I don't know how they have escaped, but one thing is certain: we may as well be dead.
"After the previous events in the Underworld, the magic sealed in Tartarus has been seaping out, giving the titans enough power to escape. They have managed to destroy Hades's palace, as well as make their way out into the world." I looked over at Hades, pleading to know the answer that was on mine, and probably the rest of the original Tartarus group's, minds: What happened to Persephone in the attack?
"What do you expect us to do?" Lucy asked from where she stood clinging to Natsu.
"Yeah, and who is the guy in the robe?" Natsu eyed the suspicious figure.
"Apollyon." The fourth figure removed his hood. He was handsome, probably nineteen or twenty, with pale skin, black spiky hair and red eyes. He wore a tattered, black scarf around his neck, the scars on his face giving him that bad boy look. His appearance fit his name, Apollyon, translating to destroyer in Greek.
He took a step forward, bowing. He stood, his face devoid of emotion, his red eyes surveying the group.
"As luck would have it, Apollyon here happens to be a dark titan slayer, able to slay titans." I gasped. In all my life I had never thought I'd meet one. They were stronger than god slayers, and very rare.
"He comes to help us exterminate the titans. I ask of you, Fairy Tail, will you rise and help to save the world from eminant destruction?!"
"Do we have a second to think about it?!" Yelled Erza.
"Did you even have to ask?!" Yelled another few.
"What are we waiting for?!" chimmed in Gajeel.
"Finally, we kids wanted some fun!"
"So, you'll do it?"
I looked over to Gray and then to my children, who nodded in unison.
"Let's go hunt some titans!"
