Versing Yourself

Today was the day....

FINALLY!

This was the special day that Marinette has been waiting for since Mecha Strike III was out.

MECHA STRIKE IIII WAS OUT!

She immediately asked her parents is she could get it, her Dad agreed in an instant and her Mum also agreed. Marinette got all her savings and when to the store to buy the game.

When she got there she saw this HUGE line in front of the store, which by the way was closed. Marinette groaned, her bad luck seemed to have struck her again. She went to the end of the line waiting impatiently. The line was musing forward meaning she was that much closer to getting the new game!

Adrien got the game days before it was out. Of course he did, his Dad was Gabriel Agreste, he could get anything he wanted. But Adrien decided to actually open the game on the same day as everyone else, it would only seem fair. Today was the day he could play it! He opened the game, excited to see what has been upgraded.

Marinette was ecstatic.

This game is so much better than the old version!

Everything has be upgraded. From the variety of different robots to choose from, to the new levels. And what's even more better...is that you can verse other players without even being int he same room! You can just pick a competitor and challenge them, and if they accept then you two can verse. THIS WAS AWESOME!

Adrien was amazed by all the new features of this game! He especially excited for the multiplayer upgrade, he could actually play with other people on the game without being forced to stay at his house playing by himself. He finally picked his robot, and looked through to find an opponent. 

Soon Adrien saw Marinette was also on. Maybe he could challenge her, he pressed the challenge button and waited for her response.

Oh god....

ADRIEN JUST SENT MARINETTE A CHALLENGE REQUEST!

What was she supposed to do?!

Should she accept? Decline? Leave him hanging? She didn't know what to do! "TIKKI WHAT DO I DO?!" Tikki said, "Just accept Marinette. She face-palmed on her table but then heard a noise. She looked at the screen and saw...... SHE ACCEPTED!

She's gonna die before she can actually play the stupid game....

Adrien saw that she accepted and smiled to himself. Plagg commented, "Wow the clumsy girl actually accepted." Adrien glared at him and said, "Don't say that about my friend!" Plagg silently snickered to himself.

Adrien rolled his eyes while he picked his robot, and waited for Marinette to get ready.

Marinette was dead.

She didn't know what to do.

Tikki said, "Come Marinette! Just pretend that you're playing against some other random player! Everything will be fine!" Marinette smiled and said, "Thanks Tikki! I can do this....I just have to forget I'm versing Adrien..." She picked out a robot and got ready.

After a few mere seconds Marinette was the clear winner.

Adrien stuttered at his screen, "W-wha-what?!" Plagg snickered, "She sure smashed you!" Adrien glared at his kawamii, "I really need to get some tips from Marinette, she's a pro."

(just saying I don't know how Mecha Strike III actually works, so I might be wrong with some of the facts in this...)
