(Recap: Elliot asked Laura out. Laura said yes.... Then the school bell rang while Elliot leaned in to kiss but they both continued the kiss when Ross appeared looking for Laura and he saw Elliot and Laura kissing.)
Chapter 4
* Laura POV*
I was so caught up on the kiss when all of a sudden Ross decides to show up.
"Laura!?" Ross said with a betrayed tone. Great I hurt his feelings.... He hurt mine worst.
"What are you doing here Ross!?"
"What are YOU doing!?"
"Kissing my boyfriend what else!?"
"Oh so now this dork is your boyfriend......"
"This dork loves Laura so SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!!!!" Elliot broke in the conversation. Obviously really mad.
"Elliot you better leave..." I said in a whisper
"I'm not leaving you alone with Ross he looks like he wanna kill you"
"Please?? For me??"
"(sighs) fine....but if he does something to you...I'm pretty sure knock the blondes out of him!!"Elliot said giving in the argument.
"Thanks Elliot!!" I said giving him a peck on the lips and he then left while Ross watched Elliot leave with his arms crossed on top of his chest.
Ross then turns my way........ Oh no!!. Help.
"Since when has this been going on!?"
"Since today...."
"Why with him.......you know I don't like him......"
"Why should I even care what you think about who I date!? Obviously you don't care about me cause you defended Amanda and you ignore me at school every single freaking day!!!!!!!!! Do you know how much that hurts?? It hurts more than what your feeling right now.!!!!!!" Just as I said that I regretted it really fast by the look his face reacted to what I said.
"Laura, I don't know who you are now......... I thought I knew you better...."
"Again, why do you care!?" He slapped me across my face and my hand immediately went to my burning cheek. I couldn't believe it!!! Ross hit me!!!!!
"I care because I love you Laura!!! Not just as friends but more than friends more than infinity!!! and you still don't get that" and that was his last words as he headed to his car. I stood there in shock. The fact that he said he loved me and that he hit me was still sinking in my heart. And that must leave mark there..........it certainly isn't the best thing ever.
My best friend just left a mark on my heart forever. And that will cost him consequences.....
* Ross POV *
I was literally furious mad at Laura!! She still asked me why I even care!! And that pretty sure pissed me off....... I walked home stomping through the streets not caring to stop at red lights. The sky started to darkened and I felt a drop of water in my face......... Oh great. It's gonna rain. When I arrived home I realized that I was the one who made mistake. I'm the one to blame. Laura is/was my best friend, and I should have defended her, I should have accepted her relationship with Elliot......and most of all......... I SHOULD HAVE NEVER HIT MY BEST FRIEND!!!!!! What have I done!? Was I going crazy!? Why hit a girl!? Especially someone who's like my sister!! Why didn't I accept Laura's relationship with Elliot!? Am I really that heartless?? Im a bastard aren't I!? Why do I get an awful feeling when Elliot is next to Laura?? Is it jealousy?? If it is then why do I feel that!? Do........I ...have feelings for .....her!?!? But she's my friend, it would ruin our special bond even though I just kinda ripped it.... Should I tell her my feelings?? Nahh!! Rather apologize than spoiling feelings.......... Will she ever forgive me?? If she doesn't then I would try everything and mean everything to get my friend back. I know it wouldn't be the same but it would be worse if I don't apologize to her than to try. All of these thoughts kept coming in my head never getting out. I needed some rest, I was pretty stressed. So I decided to apologize Laura tomorrow and take a nap on my bed hoping noone would interrupt me.
