Okay so this is my first story, so I'm sorry if there is some grammar mistakes. Hope you enjoy!
Jo's point of view
I started home after a long day at work. My phone started to play "Sweet Annie" by Zac Brown Band, I answered it, a strange voice on the other line said
"Yes is this Josephine Libby?"
"Yes? May I ask who this is?"
"I'm Stella Drain from Vally Ridge Mental Institution, I'm calling in regard to your mother Scarlett Libby."
"Okay? What happened?" The voice on the other paused for a moment before saying,
"Well she said she kept seeing a man standing in her room, then when she had to go to bed, she... Slit her wrists. I'm so sorry for your lost." My heart sunk. How could she leave me like that?
"Are you still there Ms. Libby?"
"Y-yeah. Um listen I-I got to go..." Quickly I hung up my phone, I looked up and headed home.
About five minutes later I was walking, looking down at the sidewalk, I was mesmerized by the cracks in the sidewalk. I felt a strong force hit me, I snapped my head up only to see a man with black hair, brown eyes, a small nose, and he was wearing a suit. I slowly looked away and apologized. I started to walk but I heard him say
"Your dead Jo." I quickly turned to him and said
"What did you just say?" He just continued to walk. I turned back around and almost bumped into a little girl,
"Jo, you should start looking for a casket." I just looked at her
"What did you say little girl?"
"You heard me, you should start looking for a coffin." I just looked at her waist length strawberry blonde hair, clear blue eyes, and thin lips. What was she talking about? This can't be right! I just hurried home.
When I arrived at my small white house in Orlando Florida, I opened the red door and entered my house. I shut and locked the door then headed to my black leather couch. W-what was going on? I thought as I laid my head on the arm of the couch. My eyelids started to feel heavy, stay awake Jo Jo. You need to work on your cooking. You have a big day tomorrow. After that I feel into a deep sleep.
"Oh Jo, Jo!" A familiar mocking voice echoed throughout my head,
"Jo, Jo wake up." The voice said with a chilling softness, I slowly opened my eyes, I was in a gray room that was being lit up by the golden sun, I stood up only to see the little girl with strawberry hair, her twisted smile was stained with blood.
"What's your name?" My voice was strangely cold, her smile just turned into a frown.
"Why do you want to know!?" She snapped, then jumped as if she had scared herself. Her voice returned to soft,
"I don't think you deserve to know. The only important thing is that I'm going to kill you!" Fear washed over me like the deep blue ocean over the tall rocks. Her twisted smile returned as she slowly approached me through her small white teeth she whispered,
"Everywhere you go you'll see me!" That moment I snapped my eyes open to the sound someone knocking on my door, I nervously crept my way to the door,
"W-who is it?" I asked shakiness filling my voice.
"It's Anna!" Anna was my best friend from high school and up, happily I opened the door but instead of seeing Anna's beautiful face, I saw the girl! What!? What was happening?
Anna's point of view
What? It was almost like she didn't even recognize me! How is that possible?
"Jo? A-are you okay?" Her face was pale. I just stood there for a moment, before reaching my hands out and putting my hand on her shoulder, Jo just pulled away
"Get away!" She howled, I just looked at her, then her whole expression changed, it went from scared to... Happy? I'm so confused, what's going on? She reached her hand out
"Why don't you come in Anna!" What was going on? Why did she want me to come in?
Jo's point of view
I know what exactly is going on! The little girl is trying to mess with me! Well I'll just kill her before she tries to kill me! I smiled, putting my hands out I said
"Why don't you come in Anna?" She seemed confused, hesitantly said yes. I lead her in and brought her to the couch, she sat.
"Do you want something to drink?" She shook her head. I sat beside her, her focus stayed on me. This little child's going to die today, I-I mean she's just a little girl... Can I really kill her? Yes! I must! She'll kill me! I stood up and walked to my kitchen, I grabbed a sharp knife and approached her, she just sat there with her long strawberry hair. Just relax! Calm down! You can do this! I just stood there and before I could end it for her, she spun around, an ear piercing scream escaped from her mouth.
Anna's point of view
I just sat there worried that she's gone crazy, she got to her feet and left the room leaving me there alone with my thoughts, why was she acting like this? Is she okay? I turned around to see her holding a knife over me, I screamed and tried to run away but she grabbed my thin arm. Tears streamed down my face as she threw me to the floor.
