Draco taught her how to use a bow and arrow. She became very talented with her bow. The bow was given to her by Draco as a late birthday present. When the school year started another thing arose the Slytherin Prince and his princess tradition. During the fifth year of the Slytherin Prince, he would have to dress in fancy clothing and for the one he chose his princess would wear a medieval style dress with an Elven style tiara. Shaylynn complied. Umbridge also seem to be using Shaylynn as a way to get information about Harry Potter. The year continued on Shaynn joined Dumbledore's Army. Draco join the inquisitorial Squad. They had agreed to each join one of the two, and they wouldn't give each other away. When Dumbledore's Army was discovered, Shaylynn was one of the one's caught. She escaped with the rest of her family and friends. She also went to the Department of Ministries. Bellatrix Lestrange was the first to take on Shaylynn, they dueled hard, Shaylynn was dueling to kill Bellatrix was dueling to capture and take her to the Dark Lord, Voldemort want to Shaylynn to join his ranks. Bellatrix cast a torture curse, Shaylynn could only feel pain. She was forced to relive her mother's murder. She finally went unconscious from the pain. When she woke she was in the Hogwarts infirmary. Madam Pomfrey was asking question after question after question about her scars. The one on her hand was from Umbridge's blood quill when she refused to give any information about Harry, it read I must not resist. She had a new scar on her back from a cutting curse. Dumbledore took that time to enter the room.
