Our Final Year

Complications...

*CAMI'S P.O.V* 

I was having so much fun, everyone was getting along, cal and Libby were talking so much. I couldn't get the smile off my face. There was a knock at the door, and Libby and Cal raced each other to answer it. Cal reached the door first and chuckled as he opened it. Libby jumped on his back as he ran away from the door, letting whoever was there in. Three muscular boys walked through the door, they were all very attractive. I wasn't sure who they were, but I wanted to get to know them, especially the one in the middle, who was slightly smaller than the others. He looked at me and I blushed, he was probably the best looking of the three. Cal chucked Libby on his bed and casually strolled over to them, pulling them each into a hug. They were the centre of attention now, everybody was looking at them and they did look like a very cute couple. 

The three guys eventually came and sat down, but as I glanced over to Simon, I could see him frowning, he looked extremely upset. I began to talk to the guys, their names were Caspar, Joe and Oli. Joe was the one who I really liked, and I couldn't help but stare at him whilst he was talking to people. I felt very self conscious about myself and if I would be in Joe's league. I'm not normally a very sociable person, but I felt like I had to say something to at least give me chance with Joe. 

*CAL'S POV*

I couldn't stop myself from flirting with Libby. She seemed to get prettier since I last saw her, and her sense of humour is amazing! She was flirting back, so I was hoping she had feelings for me. Simon was getting quite awkward and starting to look a bit sad, was there something going on between those two that I don't know about? I mean, I did kind of just come in the middle of a term, and I have no idea what's been going on. But I knew I wanted to ask Libby out; and I had to do it before Simon tried. 

"Uh, Libby, um, would you mind if I just spoke to you outside quickly?" I quietly muttered in her ear. She nodded and we walked out into the hallway.

"What's up Cal?" She asked, "is something bothering you?" Just as I was about to confess my undying love for the beautiful girl infront of me, a group of four girls and two boys walked past. 

"Oh hey Libby!" One of the guys said. Libby smiled at them as they carried on walking. "So, as you was saying?" She smiled towards me. I had made sure the small group had gone to the guys dorm before continuing... 

"Look, I, well ever since I saw you today, I kind of fell in love with you. And, I was wondering if you'd be my girlfr-" just before I could finish, Simon walks out to check on us. 

"Sorry, what was that Cal?" Simon asked, he obviously knew what was going on, he just wanted me to confirm it.

"I asked if Libby wanted to be my girlfriend." I said firmly. Libby stood in between us, staring at the ground. I could feel that Simon's mood dropped instantly.  I felt bad, but I also loved Libby so I wasn't going to let Simon get in the way. 

"Cal look, you are my best friend. You've been my best friend since primary, and I'm sorry, but I don't feel that way towards you. I'm saving my love for someone else." She said, giving a small apologetic smile towards him. But she then turned to Simon who was standing in the hallway, and smirked. I brushed past her and walked into the dorm, which left her and Simon standing in the corridor. 

*LIBBY'S P.O.V*

I ran up to Simon and hugged him. He placed a kiss on my forehead as I snuggled closer into his chest. 

"I think I love you," I said, looking into his bright blue eyes.

"I think I love you too," he replied, pulling me even closer into the hug. We stood like that for what seemed like forever, until we decided to go back into the dorm.
