~LIBBYS P.O.V~

I sat down under the nearest tree, tears welling in my sky blue eyes. I looked back down at my phone, rereading the messages again and again until tears were streaming down my face. Why did he have to break up with me? I shut my eyes (the tears were blurring my vision so I couldn't see properly with them open anyway) and thought about all the good times we'd had together. All the dates and memories we had, they were all gone. Will was my first proper boyfriend, the first person I'd ever truly loved. And that was all destroyed because of one girl (who I will not mention the name of) who had told Will that I was cheating on him, but I wasn't. "Hey?" I looked up, Simon was crouched down infront of me, "Have you been crying?" I didn't know how to reply. Simon looked at me, his deep blue eyes filled with care and curiosity. "Um, yeah. My boyfriend, I mean. Ex-boyfriend, broke up with me this morning. That's why I was crying." Simon frowned. For some strange reason, I felt like I was starting to develop feelings for him, I mean, who wouldn't? I smiled up at him but I knew it didn't reach my eyes; he smiled back but it was a similar smile to my own. "Look, later on me and my mates are going out for dinner out at the pier, would you like to join us? We will probably go to the arcades and play golf and stuff, if you're willing to come along?" He asked, his eyes never leaving mine, as I could feel my cheeks burning. I really wanted to go, but I knew hooking up with the next person who walked up to me wouldn't be smart: in my next relationship I just wanted to take things slow. "I would love to..." I could see his smile rising, "but I have things to do," that smile that was rising had dropped rapidly as I started to finish my sentence. "Maybe you can come round mine and we will hang out sometime yeah?" I asked him. He nodded then offered his hand to me and helped me to pull myself up. We slowly walked to the school entrance, and parted ways to our dorms.
