--Did you love him? Did he love you?
Yes..once for a brief moment. But that moment felt like an infinity.
--Then..Why?
Because our love passed it's expiration date. It was a rotten love, sour and ugly. We knew it was dead but we still wanted it so we played dumb. We waited for the other to speak up, maybe to refresh our feelings but neither one of us could decide which was worse..to be the trash or be the one to take it out. It doesn't matter now though because it hurts no matter what.
--But why does it still hurt? If it was so rotten shouldn't you both be better..?
Because love..is a two way street and when two cars collide one is always more damaged than the other. He happens to be the 18 wheeler and I'm a motorcycle. He got hurt, his bumper scratched but I..well I'll never run right again.
