I sat with my back to the brick wall, the musky air filling my senses. I was outside of the school while I waited for the day to be over. I decided to skip last period, since it was just study hall, plus it was the last day of senior year. I wasn't sure why I was staying around, I could have been home by that time, if I had walked. I just sat with a cigarette between my fingers. It was cold and I could see warm breath against the cool air.

I jumped when the bell rang and kids started flooding outside, making me decide it was time to go home. As I stood, I pulled my bag over my shoulder and started walking. I wasn't paying much attention to where I was going, I just kept walking with my head down.

The walking came to a quick end when I ran into another student, stumbling back slightly at the impact. I looked up to see a young....male? I was quite difficult to decide the gender of the person in front of me. He had choppy, shoulder length dreads with makeup caked onto his face and a grill on his bottom teeth. It didn't take a genius to notice he was terrified of me.

"S-sorry.." He stuttered out in a small voice, bending down to pick up the pack of cigarettes that fell out of my pocket. "I should look where I'm going, I didn't see yo-"

I cut them off with a chuckle. This person was nearly six feet tall and they were apologizing to a 5'7 goth kid. "It's fine.." I dragged on the sound of the last letter, hinting that I didn't know his name.

"Ghost." The male said confidently then shrunk down slightly. "O-or you can call me Devin." I felt bad for his sudden lack of confidence.

"Ghost; I like that. How'd you come up with it?" I asked, gently grabbing his arm so we could step out of the way of other students. I gave myself a chance to look over him. He had a thin frame and his dark brown eyes lit up when I asked, almost as if he wanted me too.

"It's because I'm pale and quiet, I guess. Nothing too amazing." A grin was placed on his face, showing off his grill. I already enjoyed him. There was an innocent look in his eye. He started to ramble on about how he got his name. He was quite cute, really. I almost had do remind myself that I was straight. I mean, Ghost didn't really look male, so I guess that was okay. His looks messed me up a bit. He wore a long black dress with a BDSM harness on. You could tell he took time to look the way he did. I was cut out of my thoughts when he smoothed out the front of his dress. "What should I call you?" He asked.

"Oh- uh. Ricky. Call me Ricky." I said answered him.

He pulled his phone out of his bag, holding it out to me as a signal to add my number. I typed in my number, not realizing that my eyes traveled south when he turned around to grab something else from his bag. My eyes shot up to meet his as he turned back around. Well, not quite. My eyes laid focused on his overdrawn lips and pierced nose. They stayed there for a while until Ghost placed his fingers under my chin, lifting my head so our eyes met. Caught red handed.

"My eyes are up here, Ricky." He said with a sudden burst of confidence. I couldn't help the blush that crept onto my pale face.

"Sorry- I just- I'll see you around." I just barely managed to get the words out of my mouth.
