"Did you do something with your hair? You look different," Abi said to Samantha.
"Are those new glasses?" Luke asked her.
She hadn't changed her hair or her glasses, but they were right she did look different. She barely recognised the reflection staring back at her.
Okay, so her skin was a little pale, but her face was still the same.
It was her eyes; they looked so different to how they usually did. They had lost their sparkle; they were devoid of life.
