"I payed the bill 2 days ago so i don't know what you talking about" i said into the phone at the lady

"But right here it says that you owe the light bill and the water bill mam" she said

"No i payed it 2 days ago you probably reading the wrong name because i know for a fact that i played it and i never go over my due so i don't know what you guys talking bout" i said getting pissed.

I under-

"Obviously you don't because i told you i payed it already and you just forcing it" i said

"I'm sorry mam i'm just doing my job" she said

"Can you tell your boss that me Desiree Beckham payed the bill 2 days ago and she's not paying again until her next due date" i said calmly

Bu-

"You heard me i ain't paying until my next due date and if my water bill and my light bill imma drive up there and cuss all you guys out" i said

"OK your Desiree Beckham right?" she asked

"Yes" i responded

"OK mam thank you" she said

"No prob" i said and rolled my eyes

I sat my phone down and shook my head at the thought of her telling me that i didn't pay my bill after i told her i payed it a few days ago

I was interrupted out of my thoughts when i heard the doorbell ring. I sucked my teeth and walked towards the door and didn't even bother looking into the peep hole.

When i opened the door there was standing Worth with a bunch of bags in her hands and she pushed me out of the way and walked in

"So you just gonna walk in my house and push me like that b****?" I said closing the door.

"Well you see me carrying a bunch of heavy bags in my hands" she said sitting them down on the couch

"That's no excuse" i said looking into the bags

I gasped. "You went shopping without me?" I said looking shocked

"Nah girl these are for you" she said handing me a bag.

"Oh my gosh what for?" I asked looking confused

Remember last year when i forgot your birthday and i didn't get you anything? She asked. "So i got your gifts and stuff" she said

"Your lying" i said looking at her.

"I'm not lying i'm serious Des" she said

"Oh my gosh best friend thank you so much" i said and hugged her tightly

"I felt bad for not getting you anything and plus your my best friend" she said and sat down on the couch

Thank you" i said once again

I sat down beside her and went through my birthday gifts and she got me makeup, perfume, grillz cause she know i love wearing grillz and she got me a pair of heels in my exact size and she got me a choker and some hair accessories.

"Oh my gosh best friend thank you so much i owe you one" i said hugging her once again

"Girl you good you deserve it" she said

"Girl this actually fixed my mood up because i was just about to cuss this lady out on the phone" i said putting my grillz back in it's box

"What lady?" she asked scrunching up her face in confusion.
