Terrell

Just getting off of stage after performing i wiped my face off with the towel to wipe up my sweaty face. It was my very first time performing at the B.E.T awards and i feel really good after that performance cause i was nervous asf before i got on stage and my manager had to calm me down.

I changed into my blue suit and hanged out backstage and i turned my attention to the t.v when i realized they were presenting the Best New Artist award and at that moment my heart started pounding hard asf and my hands started sweating when they were calling all the nominees and i was just hoping that they said i won this award. Not only will that make me happy i would prove to my whole family wrong for thinking i wouldn't make it to the top.

And the B.E.T award for best new artist go to................ Terrell Young!!

When i heard my name i jumped on my manager in excitement and hugged him and i didn't even realize i was crying. I walked to the stage and looked at the crowd with tears in my eyes as i walked to the mic and they gave me my award. I looked at the crowd and raised my award up and the tears just started to fall and i just had to take off my glasses and the crowd was just cheering me on.

"I promised myself when i came up here that i wouldn't cry but the feeling of being up here receiving this award means so much to me cause being from where i am it is not easy to make it and not having support from those who are close to you makes it even harder but i did it and now they are all watching" i said.

"Most importantly i would like to thank god because he has blessed me with an amazing lady and a beautiful daughter that supports me through everything and motivate me and that's what keeps me going and doing this..... And my beautiful fans i would like to thank y'all you guys have been there since day 1 and i really appreciate it i love y'all...... And i would like to thank B.E.T for supporting me and my music and seeing the good in me thank you" i said raising my award up and wiped my tears and gave my manager another hug.

I walked backstage and i couldn't stop crying i was being a little cry baby backstage but it was all good cause i know where i came from and i didn't even think that i was going to win.

~After the show~

"

Oh my gosh baby congrats" Desiree said jumping on me and i picked her up and gave her a kiss.

"I couldn't do it without you" i said.

"When you said my name up there you had me all blushing and s***" she said.

"I had to add you in my speech cause you support me so much and i never had that much support from anybody and i really appreciate everything baby" i said.

"Awww your welcome baby" she said giving me a peck.

"Your my queen" i said holding her hand.

"I love you" she said before we gave each other a long passionate kiss

"Love you too"

We were interrupted by DeMarcus and Ny walking in.

"What y'all lovey dovey birds doing in here" DeMarcus said.
