Secrets

Crash! I heard a loud glass break, it was night. I got up, I thought we we had a intruder or a roamer in the house. I went slowly to my backpack to take out my gun. I took it out and went downstairs.
I was two girls walk outside. I followed them, when I stepped on something, it was a glass cup they dropped. I kept following them, till I watched up. I saw them walking to a small little hut. They had a window, so I looked inside it, but there was more, like going downstairs. But they first turn in the lights and saw there faces, it was Esther and Esmeralda.
What the hell I said to myself, I opened the door and went with them.
When they went down stairs I took out my gun. I saw more light.
Then I heard chains. I made a small creak when I stepped on one of the stairs. "Hey!" I heard Esther say. The ran up to me. So I ran. I went outside and I went behind the hut. When they went inside I started to walk towards the house, but I stopped and I looked at the hut and thought to myself should I go inside? So I did go inside.
Went downstairs, saw a bunch of garden supplies. On the right side I saw a blanket and moved it to the side, I was so shocked to see what it was. It was someone with a bag on its head with chains of him or her. But there was a gate, so I opened it. I thought why would they have a prisoner here? So I took of the bag, and it was a roamer.
"Shit!" I said. The thing tried to get me buy it was chained. I took out my gun, and pointed it at the roamer.
"Holy shit, Gerardo, be careful!" I looked behind me and saw Salvador. He held get up. "Thanks man." I said to him. "Yeah, is that a groaner?" he asked. "What?" I asked. "That's what we call them." he said.
I shook my head. "Yeah, why would they have one?" I asked. "Well I didn't know till now. Kill it." he said looking at me.
"What? No." I said. "You don't even know who it is Salvador."
"Yeah but it's a groaner." he said "Kill it or I will."
I thought to my self, to kill it or not. I thought if I kill it. They will get angry at me, the girls, or if I don't kill it, it could be a love one, but to ask first.
"So kill it or I will." he said.
I thought me choice. "Salvador, I'm not going to kill it." I said to him.
"Whatever, I really dont want to kill it anyways let's go back." he said.
I put everything where it was and we both left, and I went to sleep on my bed.
"So how should we say it?" I old Salvador.
"I really don't fuckin know." he said.
"What's going on?" Esmeralda came in the room and asked us.
"Oh um." I said.
"Fuck it" Salvador said standing up "you have a groaner in that hut outside."
"You guys went in there?" she said looking upset. "In sorry but you should be much quieter at night." I said. "Well you ain't saying anything."she said talking out a gun behind her back.
"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA. Calm down, we can sort this out." I said holding out my hands.
"Where the hell did you get that?" Salvador ask. "In someone's backpack." she said looking at me.
"You had a fucking gun?" he said
"It's called protecting ourselves and surviving in this hell hole." I said to Salvador. "Esmeralda, please tell me. Who is that out there?" I asked her.
She lowered the gun, "Its me little brother." she said.
"Shit." Salvador said.
"Okay, for now, give me the gun. I don't want you to cause any pain. It's for the best." I said holding my hand to her. She gave up and handed me the gun.
"Alright then" is said putting the gun on my pocket "do your mom know?"
"Yeah, she does, just that I wanted Esther to come with me this time." she said.
"Let's go get your mom, and meet me downstairs and the table. Okay?" I told her. "Okay." she responded
Esmeralda came down with Esther and her mother. I told her everything. "So, I'm sorry you need to do this but you need to kill him." I said.
"No, no fucking way. It's her brother." Esther said complaining. "It's for the best, maybe one day. He could escape the chains and come here and eat us all. Who knows. But it's for the very best." I told them.
"mom, he's right. I think it's for the best." she said looking at her mom.
"While you do that, me Esther, and Salvador, will look for another place to stay." I said grabbing a knife and handling to them. "What?" Esmeralda's mom asked. "Well more of those things are coming." I said opening the curtains. There were a bunch ass roamers.
"Shit, we need to hurry up know." Esmeralda said running at the backyard.
"Alright then, I know a place like right here where there's a bunch of apartments and a gate, were we could safe. It's not far from here." I said.
"How do you know?" Esther said.
"Could I used to live there." I said.
"I'm trusting you Gerardo." Salvador said.
I looked at the window and saw buch more roamers.
"Get all the supplies we might need, knifes, food, water, anything. I said to sal and Esther.
I went outside to check in both of them. I turned around to the side and a roamer grabbed me and was going to attack me.
I took out my gun and tried to raise it to its head. But I slipped and fell. My gun slid away, I tried craving to grab it but the roamer grabbed my leg, and was dragging me, I saw it open it's mouth and was ready to bite me.
"Fuck." I said, I kicked it at its face a couples of times and then it let go.
I reach for my gun and grabbed it and pointed it at its face them I pulled the trigger. BOOM. But I missed. I got up and it was closer to me, then this time I shoot. BOOM. I got its head, when I shot at it, its blood splatted all over my face and body, it was a lot of blood. Esmeralda and her mom came out of the hut, "You see this is what could had happen." I said yelling.
Another roamer came out of nowhere and it came up to me I took out my gun to shoot, then I dropped it on the ground. I looked at it I didn't do anything, it just looked at me. Then it saw Esmeralda and went towards her. "Shit!" she said. Salvador came out of nowhere like the roamer and stabbed if at its head.
"The roamer didn't get me, so you think it's the blood on me? I mean you guys didn't have good on you and went to you." I said to them. "I got an idea." I said.
I went on the front door and opened it. The first roamer I saw I grabbed it and took it inside.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" Esther said to me. I took a knife and stabbed it at its head. "If I had roamer blood they didn't notice. So what if we put roamer blood on all of us so we can get out of the hoard." I said opening the body of the roamer. I put the knife and slide it open, and I took out the guts and rubbed if all over me. The smell was so horrible. The rest didint want to do it. So I convinced them to do it. So they did do it. We all were ready. So I opened the door and we all walked out and we were heading swords the hoard.
"Sorry Gerardo I think that is all the time we have." she said she the bell was ringing. "You can go back and rest I'll talk to your other group. Is that okay?" she said.
"yeah it's perfect." I said back.
"Come tomorrow and continue the story." she said. I nod my head and left to Runnymede. I saw her intro t on me. "What she want?" she asked. "Just the story how we all met and when e I was. She probably wants you." I said. "Alright then I'll see you at the apartment. Bye." she says turning around a d leaving.
