Surprise

"Gerardo, this is Dhamar" I said pointing at my left "and this is Marieli" pointing at my right.
"Don't leave me hanging." Abraham said smiling at me. I looked at his eyes and shook his hands. "Are you guys alone?" Rosita asked us.
"Why? Are you going to kidnap us?" I said crossing my arms.
"Savage." Eugene said.
"I'm worried because, like you kids. How old are you?" Rosita said.
"We're 11." I said.
"We?" Eugene said.
"Yeah, we're not far from here." I said. "Well lead us." he said holding his hand outside.
We all went towards the door.
I was walking till Marieli stopped me, her hand was on my shoulder.
"I need to show you something." she said. "I'll be right back." I said to them. We went at the back door.
"It that..." I said holding my hand on my mouth.
"Yes." Marieli said crying.
There was a roamer. It was just a roamer. It was one of Marieli's best friends, Melanie.
"How?" I asked her.
"She was in my house when it all started. We went outside to find my parenta when they left. When my dad left he gave me a gun, and that is when, those things went up to Melanie, and she got bit. So I shot it.
She said it was just a scratch.
Hours went by and I heard a girl yelling. I started to scream help. And when i went to give water to Melanie, she was..." she stopped and started to cry.
"It's okay." I said.
"Your her best." I said giving her a knife.
"No Gerardo I can't." she said.
"Yes you can, it's for the best. Your her friend, she's been there for you, now you need to be there for her. It's easy, at the head." I said to her pointing at the head.
She went up to it, and took out the knife, she stabbed in at the mouth. Goodness have tied her up on a rope.
She did it again, and hit her head.
"Let's go." I said.
I led them to the place we were in.
We were in a house of course. They asked me a lot of questions like why am I here, where we're you when all this happened, and, what happened to your parents? I didn't answer that question I just kept silent.
We arrived at the house, thou it was still night.
"You need to be silent because they are sleeping." I said to them.
Abraham nodded. I grabbed Marieli from the shoulder and led her to the house. I opened the door, and saw all three of them, Salvador was holding a gun. Esther had a knife, and so did I Esmeralda.
"Guys please, these are our guests." I said to them.
Abraham, Eugene, and Rosita introduced themselves and took out their hand, but they refused.
"I see." Abraham said.
We all talked for a while.
"I'm going to use the restroom." I said to them, but I didn't go.
I went on top of the house. I sat their to watch the sunset. With me I took the binoculars which I found in the backpack. I just sat there doing nothing. I heard someone open the door, so I quickly took out my gun. I look down to see who it was.
"Aren't you going to shoot me?" Dhamar said holding her hands.
"What are doing out here, I thought you were with the gang." I told her.
"Well" she said getting up here "you thought wrong." she sat next to me.
"What are you doing?" she asked me.
"Isn't it obvious?" I said
"Oh. Of course." she said.
"What had this world become exactly?" I asked her.
"Well your asking the wrong person that's for sure." she said.
"Dam." I said looking down.
I took out my binoculars to see what is out there. I looked around, just saw roamers.
"What are you looking for?" she said.
"Whatever I can see or find." I told her.
I kept looking and I saw someone.
I put down the binoculars fast.
"What, what did you see?" she asked.
"Nothing, I thought it was someone." I said to her, but I was lying because I saw who it was.
"Well, I'll go back with them, if you need anything. Come by, alright?" she said going down. "Yeah alright." I said fast.
I put the binoculars on again. To see him. And there he was, Anthony. He was like 3 houses away from where we were.
I went down back to them. I went running. When I was running inside, I saw them. They all got up. "What happened?" Salvador asked.
"There is no time to explain. We need to go, but now." I said.
"Hold on little guy..." Abraham said holding his hand trying to comfort me.
"I told you there is no time, we need to leave." I said.
"Whatever, lets just go." Rosita said.
"Alright then." Abraham said looking at her.
We all packed and went to Abraham's, army truck, I think.
When we were on the truck, I told them about the apartments, and how they were. Abraham, Rosita and Eugene agreed. Show I showed them the directions.
Once we arrived, we were all shocked to see what there was. Inside the gates, there were like thirty roamers inside.
"Holy shit." Abraham said.
"Now what." Salvador said.
"We are going to clean up this mess because, this is our home now. I mean look at this it's perfect, gates, probably water, food, and supplies, we can make a life here." I said to them.
"Bravo, bravo." I heard someone saying behind us, with a exaggeration clap. I turned around and saw Anthony standing there, smiling.
"Hello Gerardo, surprise to see me." he said.
"Another kid, dam." Rosita said.
"How did you find me?" I asked him.
"It's simple, the tracks you left." he said smiling again.
"Now that I'm here, time to get my revenge." he said taking out a gun. "Whoa little guy, clam down." Eugene said. "Shut up, fat boy." he said.
"Hey, shit some respect." Abraham said.
"All I want is him." he said pointing at me "And if you don't give him to me, there will be major consequences."
I turned around to see the roamers and the gate was about to fall.
"I dot want to say this again. Return him to me." he said. "I'm not yours to keep, asshole."once I said it the gate fell. "Shit, Walkers!" Abraham yelled.
"Kill them!" Abraham said. I got my knife and stabbed them at the head.
We were all fighting, more roamers were coming. I got surrounded. I tried to kill them. In front of me there were more roamers, and one by one I saw them fall down. One fell down and saw Dhamar. "Hurry!" she said.
We went running. Dhamar was behind me and in front was Anthony, but he wasn't alone, also Esmeralda was standing right next to him.
I stopped, and so did Dhamar.
"What's wrong?" she said also stopping.
"I'm with him, I want revenge." Esmeralda said. Anthony took out his gun and pointed it at me, and he pulled the trigger. BOOM. He shot my shoulder.
I fell, with a loud thud it sounded when I fell. I turned around and saw Abraham, Rosita, Esmeralda, and Salvador killing roamers. Eugene, and Marieli were hiding in the car. I looked up, I felt like dying. I saw Dhamar in for my of me. "Gerardo stay with me, don't you dare go to sleep." she said. I was closing my eyes, but I was fighting not to. Clink I heard behind Dhamar, and saw Esmeralda bashed Dhamar in the head. Then I closed my eyes and it was pure black.
