I stand there froze staring at Quan as he whispered the only four words I was scared of. I thought heavily.

I was in love and I always loved him what the heck I love him.

Ali - Yes!

Quan - Huh? I didn't quite get that.  (Laughs)

Ali - Yes! Yes I will marry you.

He stood up from the knee he was on. Grabbed me by my waist and kissed me. At this moment I felt like a princess.

We started walking down the passage and talked for hours. But the whole time while he was talking I kept thinking about how I cheated, and how I'm really engaged.

After we went home and made love for hours. I couldn't still believe I was actually engaged again. I remember the time I promise my self the first man I marry would be my last.

1 month passes

I have been sick lately. I can't hold no food down. I been going to several doctors visits. I think there is something else wrong with me.

Quan - Hey baby. (He kisses her on the fore head.)

Ali - Hey baby. I got something I wanna tell you.

Quan - Baby like talk?

Ali - Yea.

Quan - I got work in an hour and I don't wanna lose focus with this meeting.

Ali - Baby I need to talk to you.

Quan - It can wait!

Ali - Quan.

Quan - Shut the f*ck up! I don't wanna hear it! (He began a to yell).

I start to shed a tear. When Demetrius

Demetrius - Mama?

Ali - Yea Dj?

Demetrius - Mama you're getting fat.

Ali - Dj that's funny! What do you mean by that?

Demetrius - I'm not tryna be rude, it's just your stomach has been growing bigger since this last month and weeks.

Ali - Yep, don't forget the morning sickness, stretch marks, cravings, and hormones.

Quan stared at me for a while.

Demetrius - Damn momma I ain't no you was going through all that.

Ali - Yep, cause that what happens when you're pregnant.

Quan - What? (He looked at closely and searched my eyes.

I began to walk in our room.

Ali - Oh, Dj there is food on the stove for you.

Demetrius - Okay!

Quan - Come here!

I didn't answer. I just turned around so he wouldn't see the tears that were forming.
