The running footsteps heavy with every step. As the footsteps grow in sound. It sounded like it grew in numbers. How many I don't know but they sounded like men's footsteps thumping. That did take off some of the unneeded stress. I still had a ton of that stress.

Of course the thought of her being ripped to shreds was out of my mind. Though she could get hurt in other ways. Yep that nagging unwanted nerves came back at this tugging thought.

I tried to wake up. It was IMPOSSIBLE! No matter how many times I tried I could not wake up. It felt like I was in a comma or something.

My body finally started to wake up. The last thing I hear is her screams.

Chapter 2
The morning was blossoming with the rising sun. As I dragged to my house I thought about the dream. No not dream a nightmare. The only good part about last night was I saw Kelly. Even though she looked terrified.

When I got home my mom or dad were not home.  "Mom.. Dad."  No answer.

I went into the kitchen to get some breakfast.

Then I saw a note.

Aaron
Me and your father went to your grandparentsBe back tomorrow afternoonSee you thenLove you.

Cool a day without my overprotective mom and dad who does not care about me.

Grabbing my backpack, a flashlight ( just in case I stay out when it gets dark), and two peanut butter sandwiches.  Off I went to continue my search for Kelly.

In the dream I had a few nights ago, Kelly was running in the woods.  So that was were I thought I would start there.

Frankly I did not even know whether or not these were the woods she was running in.  But it was the closest forest that was less than a ten mile radius.

After about five hours of searching as the sun started to set and the stars started to flicker into sight.  I finally gave up.

When I got home my parents were still not home.  I assume they left yesterday.  So they should have been home by now.

The next morning rolled around.  I went down stairs to get breakfast and they still were not home.  It was a normal morning except the missing presents of my parents.

The newspaper came at its normal Saturday time.  I decided to read it since I had nothing better to do.  Even though I skimmed the paper.  One article stood out.

Car crash
A couple died in a horrific accidentThe names of the couple are...  Sally and Keith Johnson
