Save the Future (Sans' daughter/reader)

Save the Future: Part 0

For anyone who came across this story and isn't from my xreader fanfiction, this chapter was originally posted there (under the same chapter title) and it also includes pictures of what (y/n) looks like with descriptions of other children. There is also under the chapter title "(A/N) I'm not dead" a lot of description and backstory for each character (in its roughdraft form but its still info).

If you don't know me, I'm friendly, always open to comments, and I will gladly take ideas and such for the story, hope you enjoy! ^^

And now, I shall write the prologue of "Save the Future." It will be in the first person point of view, but the next part will go back to the normal "you" style. (Idk what that's called... It's not third person... Is second person a thing?)

Prologue:

X/XX/20XX

That was the day I was born. My mother was a human and my father was a skeleton. I ended up having a part of both of them, half-human and half-skeleton. They both loved me and were happy to start a loving family.

Unfortunately, when I was only a few months old, my mother died. I didn't know what was happening back then; I was only an infant. One day, my mother didn't come back. My father was devastated, but he tried his best to hide it. He was scared of losing me to, so he always kept a close eye on me to make sure I wouldn't leave either. I no longer slept in my room; my father would take me in his arms and have me sleep in his room with him on the bed.

I missed my mother, but I wasn't lonely. My uncle, Papyrus, and his wife and son lived with us. I became close friends with his son, Kendall, and we called ourselves brother and sister. That was practically what we were.

Then there were my two aunts, Undyne and Alphys. They weren't my real aunts since we weren't related by blood, but they were always there for me. They had a daughter and son, Kadyn and Ricken. Kendall and I liked to call them our cousins. Together we made the greatest team of four and always went on adventures together. Kadyn was the oldest, then Kendall, then Ricken, and I was the youngest. I was also the shortest one.

They didn't go easy with the teasing, but I knew they were doing it because they loved me. (Although if anyone else made fun of my height, I wouldn't ignore it. (Edward Elric anyone :3))

My father and I went on plenty of adventure ourselves though. He loved showing me around the underground and showing me all the cool places he went to when he was younger. We basically went everywhere together; we were closer than anyone else we knew. He would even carry me around on his shoulders.

I then started showing signs of having my own abilities just like my father's! I picked up teleportation quickly, but we could never figure out if I was able to use telekinesis or not. It would always be fun to teleport around the place, but I also used it as a quick getaway whenever I was in a sour situation, or when I was in trouble (although I hardly ever was).

Sometimes, though, my father had to go somewhere and I couldn't tag along, so someone would need to babysit me. Uncle Paps couldn't always do it, and Aunt Undyne and Alphys were usually busy (or honestly those three weren't the best babysitters) so my father would take me to his favorite resturant, Grillby's and have the owner watch me. Grillby actually loved having me around and we became great friends. I would always try to help him out at the restaurant and it was fun.

My father would always play trombone around the house and I wanted to learn an instrument myself. I studied a lot about music and started playing the violin. Trombone and violin was a funny combination but we did duets all the time. I also learned how to sing and we would sing stupid songs together. Sometimes, when I was at Grillby's, I would play songs for the costumers. It was great.
