This picture isn't 100% accurate for the story, but I thought it looked close/cool enough to add; you'll know what to change if you like having a mental image of the story playing in your head when you read. (Maybe, sometimes the pictures want to be rebels and don't show up).

It was cold. You remember the faint feeling as if you had been falling, but you were definitely on the ground now, and it was cold.

You opened your eyes and noticed you had fallen into a giant pile of snow. You slowly stood up and looked back at your snow angel... nah, it was more like a snow face-plant. You looked around at your surroundings and recognized where you were. It wasn't exactly as you remembered it, but you knew the place none the less.

You were outside of Snowdin, leading to the entrance to Waterfall. No one seemed to be around, which you decided was a good thing. With the "situation" you're in, you really didn't want to explain. Another problem you had was the fact that you're half human and half monster - skeleton to be more exact. You definitely didn't want to explain that.

You put the hood of your jacket up and put your left (skeleton) hand in your pocket. You took your hair and parted it so the left side of your face was hidden. From anyone who didn't know you, they'd think you were a normal human.

You glanced back at your snow silhouette and kicked the snow around to cover it up. A giant (who are you kidding, you're small) human shaped snow figure would probably be suspicious.

Well, you're alive, now what?

You decided there were two important things you needed to find out: Are you really in the past, and where are the others.

The four of you really didn't have a plan for when (if) you made it to the past. It was more like a "lets jump through the portal and hope it works, then we'll go from there." You had all decided to keep your identities a secret and try to remain hidden; Ricken explained that you should all try to refrain from changing the future other than the whole "saving the world" part. Luckily, if you all made it to the past, you didn't exist yet in the timeline so you didn't have to worry about running into "past you."

The closest town was Snowdin, so you decided to look there to find out what day it was, and more specifically, what year.

"I have to find out when this is and where everyone else is while being a secret ninja." you sighed, "fun."

You started walking towards Snowdin, staying alert for anyone who might come your way. It was awkward the whole time you walked over there. You could teleport... kind of... a little bit. You could teleport short distances; usually you had to be able to see where you were going. You could teleport around the room of your house if you were home, that was easy, so you didn't have to "see" see, but it has to basically be a distance where you could if you wanted. Your telekinesis on the other hand, that just wasn't even close to being usable. You were only half monster, so you only had half of your father's powers inherited. It was going to take a lot of practice, and your timeline didn't really have time for practice. Speaking of which, you had Blue to help make up for the "other half of the powers." You remember seeing Blue follow after you through the portal, but he wasn't around now.

After a few minutes of pondering your life, you arrived to the entrance of Snowdin. You saw monsters walking around talking to one another, the faint glow of the tree in the center, you could hear the soft rush of the nearby river, and you could everyone once and awhile smell the aroma from Grillby's.

You teleported and lightly landed on the nearest rooftop of Snowdin. No one seemed to notice you as you quietly teleported from roof to roof, looking around. Another problem you had was the fact that you only had so much energy before you get tired and couldn't use anymore. You didn't want to use up all of your energy teleporting around on rooftops, but you couldn't exactly jump from roof to roof let alone do it unnoticed.
