If the text is bold, it means the character is speaking in wingdings.
Yes, I know wingdings isn't a vocal language, but for this story it will be, and many comics have also had Sans and Gaster speaking in wingdings, so it's not a new concept.

You woke up to find yourself on a bed that was set up upstairs in the lab. You sat up, feeling a lot better than you have been and looked around. You didn't see anyone, but you could hear voices talking downstairs.

"How long have I been out..." you mumbled quietly to yourself.

You checked the time on your phone that happened to be charging next to the bed. It was late morning, which means you've been asleep all afternoon yesterday, all night, and most of this morning. You walked over to the edge of the floor and looked down at the first floor, seeing Alphys, Sans, Kendall, Kadyn, and Ricken. They all seemed to be alright, none of them arguing or fighting, just talking with each other. You let out a sigh of relief because even after the Umbra attack and your group's suspicious behavior, your parents weren't trying to fight your group or push them... or at least you assumed as much. You were asleep for a long time compared to how you've normally slept; you probably missed the fighting and negotiating.

You were about to go down the stairs when you felt a sharp pain in your left shoulder and winced. You walked back over to the bed and took of your jacket, revealing the white t-shirt and your bare arms. You pushed up the little sleeve of the shirt for your left arm to see the connection between your skeleton arm and human shoulder, which was always weird for you to look at. There was a small blue swirl of magic, for a lack of better words, around the contact point. It hurt like hell.

You sat on the bed for a while since the others didn't know you were awake, and you didn't want to deal with them anyway. You loved your family, you really did, but after everything that has happened well... you didn't want to worry your siblings and your parents didn't know they were your parents.

You started getting a headache and guessed your left eye looked messed up. Good thing you keep it covered with your hair. You clutched your left shoulder with your human hand and gritted your teeth.

"Of course this happens now." You scoffed. Something like this happened before, you remember the pain and your powers going out of whack, but your father was there and helped you fix whatever was going on.

You huffed and stood up again, opting to leave Alphys' lab and be by yourself. Time to go down stairs.

You put your jacket back on, double checking to make sure your skeleton side was hidden and quickly stepped down the stairs. You hoped you would be able to go outside without anyone noticing you were awake, but things never went the way you wanted.

"(y/n), you're awake!" Kendall smiled. You didn't reply and kept walking, but he noticed something was wrong, probably from the pained expression you had.

"Are you okay? Where are you going?"

"I'm going to go question reality." You grumbled, as you tended to switch languages when you had strong emotions like pain and being fed up with life's problems.

"You know I can't understand that..."

"...shoot." You mumbled, not meaning to switch language like that; you did it out of habit. Sans was once again speechless because of you.

"Way to not be suspicious, me." You thought to yourself.

"(y/n), what's happening?" Ricken asked more seriously; he caught on to your usual language switches happening when you're upset like this.
