Chapter 8

Sanyukta POV

We are back early in morning to my home. My nani wants I stay for long but I can't as today I will meet my school friends. Whenever I come for holidays I meet them. They are my best friends and school sweethearts too................. Just to confirmed that they are coming or dropping the plan I messaged them. After a moment yes they are coming and the venue is same where we last time met- Dartford cafe. 

Soon, I get ready and waved my hand for bye to Maa.. I know she is smiling at my attics. Sometimes may be she thought I m a normal college going girl instead of an air force officer.

I reached the cafe and sit on my fav place. II messaged them I reached and waiting for them but their replied 30 min more......My stomach starts growling, in excitement I forget to take breakfast so thought for ordering my fav supper. I try to wave my hand in air but a person stands in front of me with his notepad.

Person: Ma'am, what would like to eat????

I heard a voice which hits into my  ears. The same voice which I want to hear for so long.......I lift my head in his direction and he is standing in front of me. My jaw open and I start blinking my eyes that whether I m not dreaming.....................  God please someone pinch me he is real today na ....... 

His shining dark chocolate eyes and smile which he is carried on his face. My heart skipped a beat for a moment when I look at him from top to bottom. He become more handsome in last 10 months I must say. I just lost in him so much that I forget the surroundings.. I m doing happy dance that he didn't left the job from here. 

But my thoughts were break by his voice again..

Person: Ma'am, what would u like.............. the same one?

I  nodded in affirmation and he left with passing a smile ..........

I want to scream or jump like kid right now but................ I thanked God for this continuously .............. I waited for long so long  and I must say my wait rewarded me..... but like this I even don't know. He is looking so handsome and so edible to eat in Black shirt and silver grey trousers. I still remember when I firstly saw him

FLASHBACK STARTS

I was studying for my departmental test. I heard the same voice asking about my order and without looking at the voice owner I chirped my fav supper. From last 10 days, I am  hearing the same voice but never bother to look at the owner coz I want full concentration. There is a question which I m trying to solve from last 15 mins but I stuck. So I thought of messaging Ranveer. I send him the question pic and waiting for his reply and again I engrossed myself in that question to solve. B y the time my order also come. I pick my coffee mug for a sip but absentmindedly coffee mug dropped. I get up from my seat and start chanting sorry..... sorry..... sorry... He replied its okay. He try to calm me and call the sweeper for cleaning the mess which I created. I looked in his direction and trying to said sorry but my tongue get tied when I look at him.  He has innocent face, fair skin, and stubble on cheeks making him so dashing. He is looking at the floor that it was cleaned or not and I m looking no not looking actually staring at him. He looked in my direction and I saw his eyes.. dark chocolate eyes so pure and deep. I immediately fall for his eyes. His voice again echoed but I zoned out... He again said and this time I come out of thoughts...

Person: Ma'am, please be seated, I will bring ur order again.... 

But I m speechless and forget to breathe for a while. My gazed followed him till the time he is out of my sight.

FLASHBACK ENDS

My body feel some shake and voice come..

Voice: Sanyukta....

I come back to present and  my school friends sitting in front of me- Jignesh Patel and Kaustaki Sherpa.  

KS: where u lost ?

I: nothing .... and tum kb aaye ? 30 mins bola tha 

JP: 5  mins phele tum pata ni kaha khoyi hui thi ....

KS: haa... jiggy sahi keh rha h kaha khoyi hui thi...

I: kahin ni.... yeh batao how are u ????????

They look each other and then smile at me. I must say they are still in love with each other. Mostly after school, things changed but in their case I must ssay things are same and I m happy with this...

My order also arrived with HIM. I look in his direction and said thanks and he smiled. I look at his left side of body for name plate but no sign of it. Somewhere I am sad that till today I don't know his name... My heart likes him a lot but don't know his name........  

Jiggy: akele akele .. Not fair.

I rolled my eyes 

I: aisa kuch ni tum dono s milne k chakkar m I skipped my breakfast and tum dono n kaha u will come late so i ordered  and  waise bi yaha coffee and Paneer spring roll bahut ache h ...

Soon, we engrossed in our chit chat session and school memories to relive.

After long conversation we left the place to our individual homes. I was happy to meet them but a dreamy smile comes on my lips when I think about him. That today after 10 months of wait I again heard his voice and saw him.
