First chapter with two perspectives! Like a double chapter completely, not like the continued meeting. Hence the two titles. Also can we discuss the media? No. Bc I'm passed.
Yamaguchi Tadashi was glad someone was taking the time to help him practice. Or two someones. Nishinoya had volunteered to help originally, but Ennoshita joined in. This was because Ennoshita had zero trust in Nishinoya.
They were at a park, one filled with trees, that were so tall, the fragments of light seemed to illuminate much more. It seemed like a forest for giants. Yamaguchi could imagine people in the trees ready to fight the giants.
"Focus! We're working on calming down under pressure!" Nishinoya chirped from somewhere in the canopy.
"We're going to drop a puppy if you can't do this." Ennoshita added.Yamaguchi uttered a cry of protest. "It's NOT Suga's is it?" A cackle was his answer. The pressure was on. Suga dearly loved his three month old miniature pomeranion Cotton. She was ridiculously tiny, and would get hurt from this distance. He waited for instructions.
"You're going to circle the five trees around us, and if we deem you stiff, or jerky, down goes Cotton." Yamaguchi couldn't tell who was talking over the pounding of his heart. He took a deep breath, and imagined calm spreading though his veins.
His eyes closed for a while and opened with a fierce look gleaming in his eyes. Swiftly and fluidly, he began silently walking, picturing a heist. When nerves attacked, he brought up Cotton's picture and slowed down. One, two, three, four. One more tree. One more tree and he could hurry Cotton home before Suga had their head's on platters.
He approached the tree where the two others hid, and looked up questioningly. "It'll do! They can't trace you- oops." A small white bundle flew towards the ground and Yamaguchi ran towards it and caught it, hugging the small dog to his chest.
Cotton grinned at him and licked his face. He could hear the almost screams of Ennoshita and the choked laughter of Nishinoya. "I'm taking her home!" He called. Ennoshita's chewing out paused as he gave his approval. Yamaguchi edged out of the park, heart spattering.
Once he was on the streets, he ran. If Suga was home, he was dead. Nishinoya was dead for taking Cotton. If he wasn't, they were extremely lucky.
Street after street flew by and he stopped abruptly at a corner and entered the building. His usual polite wave was forgotten as he sprinted up the back stairs not caring about elevators anymore.
Knocking on Suga's door panting, the gates of hell opened and Satan answered. Yamaguchi silently held out the dog who was snatched and cuddled. "It. Was. Yu. Wasn't. It." Each word sounded like it's own sentece, each equally terrifying.
"Yeah. They were dropping her from the trees in the park." Suga screamed and ran back inside, slamming the door. He let out a sigh of relief. He would live another day.
Here is the intermisssion
Continuing on.
T
endo Satori had been glaring at his laptop for two hours. This case was giving him headaches. The 'Nightshade' group was large, which should have made it easy to bust, but were so damn smart.
These crimes had been continuing on for almost a year. New evidence was being gathered, but little ways to actually support theories was ever shown.
And that is why he was glaring. The police report had come in, and utterly destroyed the progress he had been making on a photo.
Tendo was known as 'The Guesser' for his highly improbable theories that always had more than a bit of truth to it. He slammed the laptop shut.
A particularly fierce headache wracked his skull, and he wanted to think. Off the chair and under the table he went. Onto the blanket for these situations, laying on the pillow.
He would use a different program to get the camera feed and look for ways to distinguish members and narrow their suspect list. He had thought he had seen a particularly familiar grey-green eye...
A slam on his desk broke his line of thought. He stood, about to blow up until he saw Semi Eita still tightly clutching a strawberry smoothie which Tendo gratefully snatched.
"I just saw someone drop a dog from a tree."
"I was thinking."
"Not sleeping?"
"Don't question my methods." It was their usual conversation. Arguments bordering on sarcasm. But Semi always knew when he needed a break thankfully."Wanna get lunch with Lev?" Tendo asked.
"He told me he's on his day off and met someone at the ice skating rink."
"Of course he did. The charming bastard."
"We can get lunch. Don't bring your laptop."
"What am I without my laptop?"
"I'm getting you McDonalds." Semi stalked off and Tendo sat back dow. After clicking and opening a new program, things were progressing much faster. Semi arrived shortly after and he stuffed his face slowly as something came into focus.
One ocean blue eye.
They had a lead.So AOT thingie.
I feel like Tendo relates to L a lot in this story.
Also, Cotton. I LOVE SMOL DOGES. So does Suga.
The gates of hell have been opened.Q: What's your favorite dog?
