Chapter 10

Desmond fetch me at home at exactly 6:30am..Hillary informs me that he is waiting for me on our living room. 

I went downstairs with Hillary and everyone's attention is with me..

"Good morning!did you rested well?".Desmond greeted me with his charming smiles.
"Good morning..yes, so well.thanks".I smiled at him back..I heard everyone talking through their minds..they are asking me lots of questions..I know, what I did now is a big chaos..all of them give me a question mark look.

Before Desmond and I leave the house,I talk to them through our minds..."I will answers all your questions tonight guys..I need to go"..I know they are frustrated because of me but how can I escape from this?I am now trapped..someone stole my heart..Desmond did..

We are heading to our Academy and I was just silently seated on a passenger seat while Desmond is driving.

"Are you okey Stacey".he give me a worried look..
"Ahmm Desmond,are they threatening you?I mean..my family.".I asks him.I know,my family doesn't want a human to get involve in our life.
"They are nice to me Stacey..except Lamont"..he answered me directly..Lamont is the most protective to me.I understand his behavior towards Desmond but tonight I'm gonna talk to them.
"In behalf of him,sorry for what he did".I sincerely say sorry.He hold my hand while his other hand was on the wheel.
"I understand Stacey.They also know me in school how player I was and they were doubting my sincere motives to you..but as what I've promise to you,Ill prove to them that my love is real..".He kissed the back of my hand and somehow it makes me feel warm..

We walk holding hands entering the Academy and everyone's eyes was on us..I heard gossips everywhere..Mostly are not happy upon seeing us..They talk about me behind my back calling me flirt..whore..slut.but every time Desmond held his hands to me,I feel the security..that I shouldn't have to be afraid of..That I'm just going to ignored them..

When we reach our classroom,our classmates look at me as if I commit a big sin. Specially,Quincy and Dianna. Desmond accompany me until I seated on my chair and he kiss my forehead before he walk to his sit.The hot atmosphere filled all over the room while Desmond was just ignoring around..I cant help but to feel worried if its really work out between us.. everyone is against us..is it really good to give him a chance? After all,about the revelation last night from Vlad Shaun Van Delmore makes me confuse now..How can I move on to the present with Desmond if I had a memories in the past with Shaun??and Shaun was here,trying to get and haunt me..

My attention caught when our prof came with a new student. They walk to the center of our classroom..The presence and aura of the new student is so familiar to me..I was nervous that it creep me out specially when the guy face us..he stared at me and smiles.

"Hello classmates,I assume that all of you know me already.. but I'm here in front of you to formally introduce myself..I'm Vlad Shaun Van Delmore,18 yrs.old. a baseball player from my former school Woodstock Academy but now a new student here in Yorkshire Academy..its nice to meet you everyone.."he smiles to all of us and my classmates welcome him heartily..even Desmond look happily knowing that Shaun is on their team now..except me that until now still can't believe that he is near..so near to me..anytime he can access my life..and I wonder why,I feel him as a threat..

Desmond??If you were just know,that Shaun is not a friend..My mind is so worried now and occupied..but his voice making my senses back and give shivers to my spine..
"I will always chase you,Louise Eustace Pierce".its a whisper enough for me to hear it..and damn,what a small world for us to become a seatmates..

The lessons that day went well..but still the intense atmosphere between me and Shaun gives me a negative vibes. It feels like I am losing my energy and Shaun absorbs it..I wonder why,If he can really read my mind coz no one will able to read it..the bell rings for a lunch break. I saw Desmond walk to my direction smiling at me and Shaun.

"Dude welcome to Yorkshire".Desmond greeted  Shaun with a smile and shake their hands.
"Thanks dude..Without any second thought I really wanna transfer here right away..this school is pretty cool huh?". Shaun replied to Desmond with his coolest gestures.
"Does it mean,you joined in our team too?".Desmond asks him again..
"How can I refuse the offer from a captain ball like you??so.. accepted. I'm your new teammates".Shaun winks to Desmond and they bump their fist.
"That's cool dude..thanks for not rejecting me..anyway, this is Stacey..".I almost faint when Desmond pull me closer to him while talking to Shaun..I can feel the negative aura from him when Desmond held his hand at me..those fiercely eyes of him that ready to kill..
"So she must be the girl that you wanted to win her heart?".Shaun asks while his eyes gaze at me with anger.I think Desmond didn't recognize Shaun's reaction because he is too busy in looking at me..I tried to calm myself so that Desmond cant notice how nervous I was..
"Yes dude..that girl is Stacey..I will do my best to win her heart"..Desmond answer while looking at me intently with a smile...
"Ahh Desmond,I am so hungry..can we eat now?".It was my alibi so we can escape from a dangerous stare of Shaun's eyes..
"Sure..ahhhm dude, you wanna join us for lunch??".I bit my lip about Desmond's invitation.
"No thanks dude..I don't usually eat..".Shaun answered while stares at me meaningfully and it really creep me out..
"So.. we have to go first..see you around dude".Desmond bid his goodbye..I walk with Desmond without taking a look to Shaun..

"Louise..leave this man or else I'll get rid of him".I gasps when I heard Shaun's voice talking through our minds..
"Do it or else you will totally losing me".I reply to him with my threatening voice.

I look at Desmond while were walking and cant help to think about his safety..I will protect you Desmond..I can't leave you no matter what..I will do everything to make you stay..those words not only came from my mind but also came from the buttom of my heart..
