Chapter 7

"You should be glad I saved you, because surely god would have gave you the worst treatment in hell."

I gawked at the person in front of me. My ex boyfriend Shawn. We were a perfect couple til he decided to do something I could never forgive him for.

So I asked him a question, "What the hell are you doing you fucking bastard?" I gritted my teeth and looked away so I wouldn't fall back into the place I was in sophomore year of High school.

He snickered, "I saved you from falling and that's all I get?" He questioned rhetorically. He moved his hands In a position and lifted me up so I was no longer flying face first.

My feet was inches from the ground so I wiggled out of his grip to get there. He let go of the back of my shirt and I fell to the ground. I stumbled forward a bit and then caught my balance.

His eyes traveled down my body and I realized that my shirt was showing my privates to the world. I fumbled with my shirt unfolding it and watched it gracefully fall to both my sides and covering everything but my legs.

His eyes stayed on my legs and he licked his lips. I turned around so I was facing him and and folded my arms against my chest. I then roughly grabbed his chin and jerked it upward towards my face.

I glared at him letting him know how annoyed I am. He laughed softly and I tried so hard not to let his laugh faze me.

I used to love everything about him. His laugh, the way we raked his hands through his black hair. His green eyes that always loved to pierce through my blue ones.

He looked deeply into my eyes and i moved my legs back and forth avoiding his gaze. "As much as I would like to catch up with yo-"

"I wouldn't." I cut him off.

He sighed and decided to ignore my comment. "As much as I would like to catch up with you and tell you how deeply sorry I am for the way I acted in sophomore year, I don't have time for that."

I snorted and looked at his face. Not one feature of his face looked like he was sincerely sorry. "You never have time."

Again he ignored my comment and just smirked after a long minute he broke the silence. "You know... I missed you"

I rolled my eyes and tried not to think to much of how much he was bullshiting me. "Look can you just move out of my way." I waved my hands and a look around reminding him of my failed escape tempt. "I have somewhere to go."

He gave me a pained look, "Sorry babe can't let you go."

I sneered at him when he called me babe. "Stupid bastard." I mumbled. "Just let me go and everything will be okay, alright."

He smirked at me,"Like I said, no can do."

I sighed which looked like I was about to give up and turned away from him and walk myself back into the house.

He smirked in satisfaction and made a mistake by letting his ego get the best of him. Unnoticed, I brought my knee up and and made sure it punched hard into his stomach.

He made a groan sound, went to cover his stomach while he was rocking back and forth on the ground.

I made my way over to him and returned his pained look. "Didn't want to do that but I had no choice."

I lean over and spread his legs apart and kneed him in his dick. He suck in a breath and squeeze his eyes together.

I quickly got up and made a run for it. My bare feet heavily pounded against the hot sidewalk underneath them. Instead of pushing forward like I should have I looked back like the dumb bimbos in horror movies.

I saw Shawn headed my way not to far behind me. I looked forward just in time to see and crack elevated from the rest of the sidewalk but not fast enough to dodge it.

I tripped on the crack and launched forward and my body pounded to the ground. To stop my face from cracking I put my elbows out and stopped the fall.

My arms skidded forward and I knew that it would be a bad cut underneath it. At least I didn't damage my face. I heard people around me gasp and I was confused as to why.

But then I felt a heavy body jump down on mine. I knew that it only had to be Shawn. "Are you fucking serious! I'm already down there was no need to do that!" I tried to scream although it was muffled because of the weight of his body.

"Had to make sure you wouldn't go anywhere." He mumbled.

"Well dumbass get off of me!"

He laughed and flipped me over so I was the front of my body was facing him. He straddled my waist and smirked, "You used to love me on top."
