Elise

"You've wasted a lot of money and time your parents are very disappointed with you, " Sidney explained.

After overhearing that they didn't have enough evidence for me to go back to the juvenile detention center it made me extremely happy.

When it came out the room Anthony's face was priceless.

I threw the nugget up in the air planning to catch it in my mouth but instead I didn't and it came crashing down and crumbs hurtfully ended inside my eye. "Ouch, Oh Shit"

I flared my arms around looking like a 5 year old trying to fly, only there was no superman underwear, a blankie wrapped around my neck, and there definitely wasn't my dad standing at the end of the couch promising to catch me while my mom was on the other side of the room laughing holding a camera waiting to snap pictures.

I was startled when I heard a heard a voice, "Guess what." I then looked at the window and notice that Anthony was accidentally leaning on the button which resulted in me being able to see them talking and hear them.

"What," Anthony responded.

"Guess," that unknown voice came back I decided that it was another police officer.

Anthony glared at him and unknown laughed. "I see why she wanted to go McDonalds, there piece of shit cameras aren't working at this hour." He told them.

"So this means that we have no real evidence that she actually assaulted that women and stole her car?" Kaleb finally asked.

"Correct."

Anthony groaned agitated, "I've been here for 3 years and you guys aren't going to take my words into consideration?"

Unknown lightly patted his back, "Sorry man, you know how this works."

I looked towards Anthony's face it seemed he was thinking really hard, glaring at the wall biting his bottom lip. "I told you guys that she was driving the stolen car," He stated. "Can't you just pull up pictures of her driving the car from the traffic cameras?" He question.

Unknown took his hand off Anthony's back and used it to scratch the side of his head. He coughed, "Yeahhhh, those are just there to scare the drivers and make sure they stop at the red light... There not really on though."

Not caring that there was still left over crumbs rolling around it my eye I dashed to the door. I patted and moved my hair around, trying to find a bobby pin.

I twisted the bobby pin and Inserted it into the door. After hearing the clicking sound I took the bobby pin out the door lock and put it back it my hair.

I pulled the door open and came out dancing. Once I was at angle where each person could see me, I bent my knees and put my hands behind my head and dry humped the air so hardly that I thought I would dislocated my hip.

"Ha! I bet you bitches thought I was going back in!" I shouted.

Anthony twisted his face up, and he slightly pouted his lips and glared at me with a irritation rising off him.

I learned that the man I didn't know was Conner and he led me to the front of the room to the waiting cells after Anthony ran off and Kaleb had no choice but to follow.

"After your foolish act that you put on, your mom and dad are calling around paying money for people to take off anything that will cause you to spend more time, " Sidney said.

I knew that they probably were the reason i was in this position, I was sitting in the limo again and made sure to explain my escape more secretly.

Sidney looked at me, probably worried about my quietness. Her face was covered in confusion. She then realized she wasn't going to get anything out of me so she went back to looking at her iPad.

"Your mother has been the top Law Firm in 5 years, this is very important to her, she is throwing an classy event and expects you to be there" Sidney made sure to put more effort in making the word classy louder.

"You have hair stylist, make up stylist, and wardrobe inside your house." She stated as if seem rehearsed. "You are going to get into the house and go straight to the room and let the stylist work." She continued.

All the words flew out the window but the word room is what caught my attention. This should be easy I've escaped from there plenty of times.

"... You need to be seen not heard."

I froze and looked at her, that was a line I've always heard and it was always sensitive to me.

She looked at me and raised her eyebrows, "Problem?"

I glared at her and shook my head. I turned my head to towards the window trying so hard to not let the emotionless mask slip from my face.

It did.

Tears nearly formed in my eyes but I refused to let them be noticed. Under this cold exterior was always the girl who wished she was never in this position.

She always wanted parents who actually cared for her.

She wanted parents who weren't the eye of the public so her family could be at peace.

But I knew that as soon as the doctor instructed my mom to push...

There was no going back.

**

I faced the 3 people in front of me and watched as the criticized my body and style.

All 3 stylist sucked their teeth and made a tsk sound. I rolled my eyes and looked around the room.

Can't go through the window... I wouldn't make it after jumping down 5 flights.

Can't go the through the door, apparently Sidney and my parents learned their lesson the last time so they placed a guard at the other side of the door.

They dragged me to the bathroom and pushed me in. "Take shower... You stink, "

I didn't make a fuss about taking a shower because I knew they were right.

I got into the bathroom and started stripping from my clothes. I stepped into the shower and like the feeling of the hot warm water dropping down my back.

As sunk into the warmth of the water I just stood there staring blankly at the wall trying to process my day.

I got out of the Detention Center, Met an old Acquaintance, punched a women in the face then stole her car, got arrested but didn't exactly serve the consequences, and thankfully I finally got my chicken nuggets.

Remembering all of today put a smile on my face, I missed the rush of my heartbeat every time I didn't something I knew I wasn't. I missed the scared looks people gave me once they noticed I was more close to them than they thought.

KNOCK

KNOCK

KNOCK

"Hurry up child, " the stylist paused. "Your going to take a lot of work. "

I rolled my eyes and started cleaning my body. I made sure I took extra time rinsing off just to annoy them. I heard the heavy sighs and footsteps pacing by the door probably clocking the time I've wasted.

I stepped out the shower and dried off afterwards I brushed my teeth and then washed my face.

Looking in the mirror I noticed I wasn't the same girl I used to be. The girl who used to have that excited glint in her eye. Now that girl was replaced with a emotionless mask I put on trying to hide my real feelings from society. Never really had a choice I had to follow my parents orders just so I could keep there reputation.

Standing naked in front of the mirror I felt a light breeze that made me shiver. I looked backwards to the cracked window and the emotionless mask was now replaced with a mischievous glint that was known to everybody.

I faintly heard the stylist say that if I didn't hurry up she would be coming in here to dragged me out.

I knew this was my chance to escape, crawling on the floor and looking under the sink and in cabinets I was able to find Underwear and a bra with a long shirt that was down to my knees.

I quickly tied my hair in a high ponytail, feeling the water drop done my neck. I ran over to the window and opened it enough so my body could fit threw.

Before I stepped out the window I thanked god for putting this tree near my window. I then stepped out and hooked my foot onto the branch closest to me and latched both hands onto the branch on top of it.

Climbing fully out the window I put took my foot of the branch and hung from the tree. I looked down only to look back up and scrunch up my face.

Oh fuck.

I planned on flipping myself from branch to branch until I got to the bottom but then I realized that wasn't going to happen.

One I tried my first swing, I made it perfectly, or so I thought. I my hand was inches away from connecting with the branch below but before I could latch on I was brought back because of my shirt.

I thought I heard someone snickering so I looked around but saw no one in sight. Moving my arms back in forth trying to reach the branch only caused more problems.

Since I was creating too much friction the branch slowly broke off one by one then I was flying upside down.

I opened my eyes and fear the pressure of the Falling. I was upside down so my shirt was up and my under garments were in clear view to the public, I just hoped there wasn't any of the camera crews here to witness this.

"Oh God I thank you for the easy punishments all those time I did wrong I just hope you don't send me to hell after I die," I prayed.

I was inches away from touching the ground when i felt a hand on my back grab the back of my shirt and lift me up so I was hanging face first.

I twisted around still hanging and was glad and slightly confused why he was here.

"You should be glad I saved you, because surely god would have gave you the worst treatment in hell."
