Yes they were as I recall Lucy's father Farzu Lung was the greatest blacksmith and the Chinese Emperor always send his men to Farzu's to get work done and Tye Cheng's father Lenny Cheng worked as the Emperors horse trainer and that Tye loved Lucy but she didn't love him in return because she loved Cat Noir but he didn't love Ladybug because he loved Lucy but it wasn't until they learned each others identities they found out they loved each other and it took about 4 years answered Arkalia
