Courtney's POV
Ever since I got my Hogwarts letter, Avril has been extra clingy on me. Don't get me wrong it's cute at first, then it gets annoying. Maybe it's because she'll miss me, when I go to Hogwarts.

I found out Hogwarts is a boarding school. And there are uniforms. Ugh. I believe in freedom of dressing but it's probably not gonna be that bad.

Avril is not the only one sad about me not being around. Keyon has been trying to make excuses just to spend time with me. It's nice to have a house-elf as a friend.

Tina, however, has also gotten her Hogwarts letter on her 11th birthday too. I'm so happy that we got to see each other every single day. Tina lives in London and I live in Edinburgh. If I'm correct, I live more North than she does. At least we'll be more closer.

I also heard a rumor that Harry Potter is in our class. I wonder if he actually does have that scar.

Anyways, the entire family, as well as Keyon are currently at Diagon Alley. Diagon Alley is a place where most witches and wizards go shopping for magical items. I have been to Diagon Alley to get some books to read for pleasure.

All the books for For all year are:

The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1

by Miranda Goshawk

A History of Magic by Bathilda Bagshot Magical Theory

by Adalbert Waffling

A Beginner's Guide to Transfiguration

by Emeric Switch

One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi

by Phyllida Spore

Magical Drafts and Potions

by Arsenius Jigger

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

by Newt Scamander

The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection

by Quentin Trimble

Wow that is a lot of books. After using the floo powder network,we headed the nearest shop for my uniform. When we entered, we knew we should have left.

"Oh look it's Britain's favorite auror."

Lucius Malfoy is the most untrustworthy man, according to my parents. My Dad and Lucius were best friends at their time at Hogwarts. Both were Slytherin and prefects. Lucius had ideas that Pure blood and Half-blood wizards should be more superior in the wizarding world. He also believed any Muggle born witch or wizard didn't deserve an education at Hogwarts. He was taught to call them the worst slur word ever: MudBlood.

During the first wizarding war, Lucius fought on the side of he-who-shall-not-be-named. After the war, Lucius and his family claimed that they were under the imperious curse. My father knew the truth. But he let them off the hook, but at a cost of lost friendship.

"What are you doing here, Lucius?" Mother had snarled. Father was clutching Avril and me.

"I'm doing the same as you, getting books for my child who is also going to Hogwarts." Then the devil in an 11 year old body walked over to Lucius. Father stood back and stared at him.

"Draco, this is the Hamiltons. Hamiltons, my son, Draco."

Draco just scoffed at us. Of course I knew Draco. Sometimes when I went to Diagon Alley, he would be there and look at me with disgust.  Our family treats Muggle born witches and wizards as much respect as everyone else. I don't see what is wrong with them. Some have shown me Muggle items.

Start playing the song

In fact, Tina's mom is a muggle born witch. Mom and Tina's mom, Beatrice, met in Hogwarts.

Beatrice Moreau was a witch that was a year younger than my father and a year older than my mother. Most of the Slytherins in Beatrice's grade use to make fun of her and other Muggle born witches/wizards for who they are. But it was a Slytherin that made her feel better too. Dad's friend Alfie opposed the ideas against muggle borns. He decided to make an organization called: "The MuggleBorns Are Special." It didn't get much supporters, but Beatrice got a husband. Alfie and Beatrice had a double wedding with my parents. Tina was born a couple months after me. That is how we know each other.

Anyways, Draco is still staring at me, ugh. WHY?

Draco's POV

Father took me to Diagon Alley to get my school supplies for Hogwarts. He was reluctant at first for me to go to Hogwarts.  He wanted me to go to Durmstrang, because mudbloods were not allowed there.  Plus, the oaf Dumbledore does not teach there.

Though, mother would have missed me too much, so I am stuck at Hogwarts.
We had encountered Father's former friend and his family. I was surprised Courtney was a part of that family. I cannot believe she is going into Hogwarts with me next year. She is such a nerd.

Courtney's POV

"Hello Draco." I spit those words out quickly.

"Courtney."

Then he just stares at me. Ugh Creepy.

"Well, Lucius we must get going." Father nonchalantly say.

"What a shame."

We leave them behind and don't turn back. If I'm gonna have to deal with that much staring, I'm not gonna have a lot of fun at Hogwarts.
