Request: I'd like to request about cordelia finding out about her powers and thinking that fiona will be happy but she is actually really indifferent?
She was very young. It started off as her being able to bring a glass to her person with the snap of a finger. Then she killed birds and squirrels. IT just grew and grew. She didn't know how to deal with what was going on. She kept it a secret for a very long time. Until, it came time she just couldn't keep it a secret any longer.
"Cordelia, is everything okay?" Fiona Goode, her mother, asked. She looked up at her mother and shook her head.
"Can you pass me the salt?" She asked in a calm tone. Her mother looked at her and scoffed.
"Answer my question." Fiona looked down at her daughter and scowled. She looked at the salt. It was silent for a second before the salt slid across the table and into her hands. She looked at her mother and smirked as she tipped some salt onto her meal. Fiona was furious. She wasn't expecting her child to develop the same powers as herself. Considering, she more worried that her child would one day become the Supreme. But, that wouldn't happen for a very long time.
"When did this happen, Cordelia?" Fiona asked, picking up the pepper and peppering her own meal. She stayed silent. "Cordelia,"
"A few weeks ago." She replied quietly, mixing her food together. "I was going to tell you! I swear!" She exclaimed as soon as she saw Fiona's face turn. Fiona simply placed the salt on the table before using powers of her own and bringing the salt to her.
"It's fine, dear."
