I walked silently down the road. Flint was in my pocket, humming slightly. The girl was walking behind us, sometimes asking about the trees, grass or anything else surrounding. I would give the simplest answer possible, she could still be dangerous...

We were walking for about ten minutes when Flint let out a loud gasp.

"What is it buddy?" I reached for my sword, ready to attack behind me.

"We forgot to get R.C.'s wheels!" he exclaimed, whimpering.

I had completely forgotten about R.C. The girl let out an 'ahem'. I looked back.

"What's an R.C.?" She asked.

"A remote car. It drives around and stuff, but not until we get the wheels." I pulled R.C. out of my pack, showing the girl the place where the wheels go.

"Wait... What's your name?" I asked. "We never got to ask..."

The girl stood still. She fumbled around with her fingers. "I don't know... I can't remember..." She finally said.

She doesn't remember her name? How is that possible... Wait... How do I remember my name? Did Motherboard give it to me?

"Hello? Anyone in there?" the girl noticed me in deep thought.

"Nothing... So... You have no idea what your name is?"

"No idea..."

"Well what would you like it to be?"

She kept walking, not saying anything. "That's like asking how to explain life..."

"Oh..." I kept quiet after that.

Flint hopped out of my pocket, climbing up onto my shoulder. "We could call her Snow!"

"Snow?" she asked.

"Snow is powder ice, plus it sounds good enough to be a name..." I pitched in.

"Hmm... Snow sounds nice..." She told Flint.

"Nice to meet you Snow!" he grabbed and shook her hand.

She smiled. "Nice to meet you too Flint."

She seemed a bit more likable now that she had a name. Yet she still was different... I had to protect my friends.

"What is Flint by the way?" She asked

"Flint, a hard gray rock consisting of nearly pure chert, occurring chiefly as nodules in chalk." Flint said in his intellectual voice.

She laughed. "No I mean what are you?"

"Oh I see. Well Snow, I am an Advanced Artificial Intelligence Processor Unit. Normally called robots but I am the first in my class. Advanced!" he said the last word slowly and with emphasis. I rolled my eyes and Snow giggled. I looked at her and laughed. She had such pretty eyes... I had to admit, she was growing on me.

The cave was right in front of us now. I pulled open the door, turning the lights on. As Flint and I walked inside, I dropped my pack on the couch. Snow walked in gingerly.

"This is your house?" she asked, looking around.

"Yep, it's our pride and joy." I answered her, stretching and yawning. She examined the scenery. I noticed her confusion and decided to show her around.

"You see," I began, "this is the living room, we got the fireplace there in the corner. The couch, as you can see, is there. We've got our rugs." She laughed, rolling her eyes. I led her to the kitchen, a small table and counter next to a bunch of drawers. She opened one and looked at the few ingredients inside. I shrugged and jumped onto the couch.

"Flint! What time is it?" I shouted.

Flint was unscrewing one of R. C.'s battery compartments. He turned to face us. His screen flashed a quick digit. "About seven o' clock." he shouted back.

"Ooh! Dinnertime! I'm starving." I hopped back off the couch and walked to the kitchen.

"What's dinner?" Snow asked.

I laughed, "Only the best meal of the day! But we're almost out of foodstuffs..." Wait, she didn't know what dinner was either? Man, she's got some issues.

I grabbed my sword and pack and walked outside. There were some cows out in the forest we could get.

"Where are you going?" Snow asked. She had followed me out the door.

"I'm going to go get some food. Wanna come?" I motioned to the forest.

She stood there, looking from me to the forest, back to me, and then the forest. "Sure." she finally said.

I smiled. "Come on we have to hurry." I started to jog into the woods. Looking behind, I saw that she had almost caught up to me by the time I reached the treeline.

I looked forward again, seeing a clearing, and cows. They huddled together, almost looking like a large group of bushes. Their furry green hides blended into the grass underneath. Snow stepped behind me, cracking a twig in the process. One of the bushes came to life and revealed the big bull. Its large horns were protruding from the sides of its head. I ducked behind the tree again, peeking around the other side.

After a moment, the bull lowered its head and continued to graze on the grass.

"If you're going to keep your insides INSIDE of you, quiet!" I whispered to her forcefully.

"Sorry Mr. Anxious. What's so bad about a nice cow anyways?" She smirked.

I put my hand over my eyes, man she's got no brains about anything! "Look, if we're going to eat tonight, we're going to have to get one besides the big one." I pointed in the bull's direction.

I picked up a pile of rocks, handed them to Snow, and told her to start throwing them far away. "I'm going to take one of the other ones." I started to sneak away.

The next thing I heard was rocks cracking across the clearing. Well done Snow... The bull started to walk towards the sound. I snuck towards a small bush-shaped object and slit it's throat. I looked up to see Snow's hands covering her mouth, amusing. I smirked. The bull was still looking behind trees when Snow and I snuck off with the baby cow.

When we were out of earshot Snow punched my shoulder.

"Oww" I smiled "what was that for?"

She looked at me with pouting eyes. "You killed that in-innocent baby!"

I only smirked and faced forward. "Well, if you want we can leave it out here for the spookies to eat. No dinner for us."

Snow's jaw dropped. "Spookies? What do you mean by spookies?"

"Oh just the things that go bump in the night. C'mon lets get going!" I laughed.
