Kellin's POV

I was sitting here finishing my essay for English 101. When I got a skype call from Vic. I answer the call immediately.

"Hey baby." He says excitedly.

"Hey." I say with a blush on my cheeks. He never fails to make me blush.

"How's everything going?" He asks.

"I'm finishing an essay I need to do for English. It's about done just need to revise." I say and grab a slice of pizza from my plate.

"I see you gave in to the freshman 15," Vic teases.

"Shut up it's only one slice," I say stuffing my face.

"How many slices have you eaten today?" He asks.

I blush. "4 and a dozen wings." I say.

We both start laughing.

"Aww my chubby baby." Vic says.

"Shush I'm hungry." I say through a mouth full of food.

"Are you planning on coming home for fall break?" Vic asks.

I flash him an apologetic look and start to explain why I can't. "Vic I want to but I can't physic's kicking my ass and I need help with it."

"Don't you think I can help you you with physics?" He says hanging up the call.

I let out a long sigh. I look at my laptop and get up from my seat. I grab a sweater and head out the door. I leave my dorm building and go to a bench near the trees. I sit down and watch the students walk by. It's like 10 pm here so some of them are getting ready for curfew. I on the other hand don't have a curfew because my RA is super cool.

His name is Austin, Matty and I hang out with him all the time.

Vic's POV

When I hang up I look at Mike and Tony.

"He isn't coming back for break." I say with a sad voice.

"Do you think he's cheating on you Vic?" Tony asks quietly.

I shrug my shoulders and look at my lap. I pull my legs up to my chest and sit there.

Mike comes over to me and I hear the door close to the bathroom.

"Why don't we go up there? You can take time off from work and just go see him. We can get a job up there and get an apartment for a while." He says.

"I don't know if Mr. Armstrong will even let me go seeing as i missed 2nd semester this past year for rehab. I won't have a good excuse" I say.

Mike sits on the floor in front of me.

"I already got an excuse you can use." He says.

~~Next Day~~

I walk into Mr. Armstrongs office.

"Vic it's good to see you. How are your classes?" He says.

"Good to see you too Billie. My classes are fine but I've got a request to make." I say.

"Okay shoot." Billie says.

"So I was informed that my daughter has been diagnosed with brain cancer and only has a few months left." I say with tears coming to my eyes.

He nods for me to continue.

"I left her and her mother in Michigan and haven't seen her in over 2 years. Her mother has told me that her request is for me to be there for her last few months." I say.
