"Are you going tonight?" Chris said, grabbing his towel and rubbing it across his face.

"Yeah of course! Are you not?" A tall, concerned Ashlyn asked, checking the time on her phone. Her brown eyes reflecting from the screen. "Well now you don't get a say in the matter, come on!"

"What?" Chris said, setting down the towel and grabbing his shirt.

"We're leaving. Now. For the party." Ashlyn said slowly so he would understand. Chris nodded reluctantly, grabbing the rest of his things and followed Ashlyn. Chris started walking a little faster to catch up with her. "Are we stopping by Iris'?"

"Yeah did I not say that?"

"Nope." Chris said, nodding his head again, chuckling a little.

"Sorry, guess I'm a bit absent minded. I'm just really excited about tonight! Oh, by the way what are you wearing?" Ashlyn said, still walking.

"Um, haven't really thought about. I guess just what I'm wearing now." He ran his fingers through his short blonde hair.

"'Haven't thought about it'! How could you not think about it? It's Vanessa's party! Everyone's going to be there." Ashlyn said, collecting herself. "I've been thinking about my outfit since last week."

"Well I just didn't know I was coming till five minutes ago."

"Well it doesn't matter anyway." Ashlyn said, walking around the corner. "We're here."

"Here" Chris said confused. "But this is Iris—"

"Iris house. We are here to meet her and Will." Ashlyn interrupts.

They walk a little further into the street, stopping at a light colored house with big rocks covering the bottom half. Some of them had traces of copper, but they were mostly grey. It seemed to be newer than the rest in the area.

The house's colors contained of mainly whites but some light browns where here and there. It had a large garage and a wide stained wood door, dark brown almost black in color. The number on top of the garage was, 329 in large white blocks.

Ashlyn walked up to the front door and knocked. She looked up at the sky. The sweet sunshine beaming right on her. The sun's rays lit up the small covered walkway they had to the door. Giving no rest to the endless heat of the summer. When she knocked; she immediately heard two dogs barking. They were low grumbling barks of larger dogs, rather than yaps of small dogs. The door creaked open. A very, not ready Iris opened the door; trying to keep her dogs behind her legs.

"Ashlyn!" A surprised, still-in-pajamas Iris said. "Holy crap, what time is it? Give me a sec I'll be right back." She closed the door and ran back inside.

"I still can't get over her English accent." Chris said. Ashlyn gave a little "yeah" as the door creaked once again.

"Okay, let's go." Iris said, stepping out and letting Willow follow, closing the door behind her. As she walked down the steps her curly, playful hair bounced on the shoulders of a short, light blue swimsuit that looked like more like an A-line dress.

Willow, a tall, dirty blonde, pixie-cut hair girl, walked up to Iris and linked arms with her. Also wearing a swimsuit, but hers was just a black one piece with a cover up that looked more like an oversized T- shirt. "Hey, thanks for coming to meet us. Iris and I were working on a art thing."

"Yeah no problem, we were already going this direction. We have to stop by my house before we get there though." Ashlyn replied as they all start walking in one big row.
