Kats POV
My blonde hair whipped in the wind as I ran. Giggling, my father chased me down a steep hill. That's when it happened, I remember it so clearly. There was a loud, explosion like sound coming from the front gate of the wall. My father narrowed his eyes. He picked me up and ran. "Daddy, where are we going?", "We are going to Daddy's work ok? We will be there soon. Hang tight ok sweetie?" My five year old self nodded. I lied my head on my fathers shoulder. The sounds of screams and buildings collapsing can be heard in the distance. I didn't know what caused it at the time. My father never taught me what those monsters were. "As soon as we get to headquarters we will start your training ok? Daddy loves you and he just wants to make sure your safe!" I hugged my fathers neck tighter. "I'm going to be like Daddy!?" My father laughed a little.
