Levi's POV
I looked towards Kat. I began to explain why I wouldn't let her go on the mission. It wasn't just her mothers death that hurt so much, but the fact I lost so many others. I couldn't bare to lose her. She was the only family I had left. I began to think of the people I lost during missions and beyond the walls. I lost Isabelle and Farlan. I lost my wife. I lost so many cadets. I couldn't bare to lose Kat. Even though I knew she would have to go beyond the walls one of these days. Shit.
Kats POV
I was about to ask the short, corpral why he was staring at me when all of a sudden he spoke."Kat, do you want to go on the mission ?" I looked at my father with pure shock. Going outside the walls. I could see the outside. I could see everything I couldn't see before. I'm 17. And I'm finally going to the outer world. A world I have yet to discover. I bet you're thinking 'a seventeen year old cadet has yet to go out beyond the walls because of her fathers sake?' It's more than that. I loved my father. I would do anything to keep him happy. Especially after hearing about how he refused to leave me with certain higher ups. He raised me on his own. He only trusted me with two other people. Hanji and Mike. Why not Erwin? Erwin and me aren't on good terms. Well ever since two years ago....I guess. You see Erwin was using me. He was using me as everything and anything he could. His assistant, his co captain, etc. Things went a little too far one night when he got drunk with a few of the other higher ups. He called me in for a reason I don't seem to remember. He spoke to me about being a good assistant and being quite the doll. The other drunk men began to laugh. He was being a little touchy but not enough to consider it disturbing. Why me of all people? I don't know. Like I said he was drunk out his mind. I couldn't stop him though. Anyways continuing, Erwin got drunk pretty often after that. He got a little more touchy with me every time. My father finally threatened him with a restraining order. Luckily he's quit calling me in or getting drunk. It still disturbs me though. Just the though of it disturbs me. My father isn't too happy when our conversations come to this specific topic.
Levi's POV
Kat stared at me blankly. As if she was in thought. Suddenly, her eyes lit up. I didn't want her to go but I knew at some point she would have to. I nodded my head knowing the answer. I turned on my heels and began to head back to Hq
Hanjis POV(Hey!!)
I sat in my office tapping my pen against the desk, waiting for Kat and Levi to return. He told me he was going to spend part of the day with her, but didn't say anything else after he informed me. I had no idea when he was going to be back. I turned my head slightly at the sound of footsteps. I stood up in hopes it was Levi or Kat but was soon upset to find it was Erwin. "Yes sir?". He stared blankly at me. "I'm not too fond of the idea of Levi taking Kat out anymore. I want him to be here. Training the cadets. He refuses to listen to me though. Can you speak to him?" I looked at him as if something had slapped me. This man doesn't realize what has happened to Levi's family yet he continues to tear it apart. I wanted to refuse but he was my boss. I couldn't. Unless I was willing to lose my position. Or even worse end up in court because of some stupid Lie he had made up. Erwin changed. Before Levi's daughter arrived, he was a very controlled and organized man. He has changed for some reason. Ever since Levi has been refusing to follow certain orders just to make sure his daughter is safe and not in the hands of some psycho. I nodded. "Yes, of course sir." I muttered, "I'll make sure to tell him right away." He nodded and left my office swiftly. There was nothing else to do except figure out a way to explain this to Levi without pissing him off. He loved his daughter and I don't blame him! She's innocent. Very innocent.
Levi's POV
I walked into the building with Kat close behind me. I nodded to a few cadets as I passed them. There was one cadet though, that I happen to dislike very much. "C-Corpral! Erm.....Hanji wishes to see you! It's not too important?" I glared at the brunette. I turned to look at Kat to see a familiar gleam in her eyes but couldn't figure out what it was. I turned back to look at the cadet. "Of course, and Jeager? I need you to clean the stables! And once you're done with that clean you're room" Eren nodded and walked away. My eyes were following him. But as he was walking I noticed a slight pink coloring on his cheeks. I clenched my fist, not knowing if the blush was embarrassment or a crush on a certain girl behind me.
Levi: Ok that's a little better...
Eren: Hey! I'm in the story!
Levi: SHUT IT JEAGER AND CLEAN THE STABLES.
Me:SIN NU ESSEN UN WIND DE JEAGER!
Levi:*facepalm*
Me: ANYWAYS GUYS!!! That was the second chapter....erm.... hopefully this isn't too bad....but if it is let me know. K. Anywhooooo
Levi: HURRY UP SHIT FOR BRAINS!! WE DONT HAVE ALL DAY
ME:..........geez fine......VOTE AND COMMENT IF YA LIKED IT!!! If you didn't then....Um
Levi: If you didn't like it then I'll feed her to the titans....
