(7) The test & celebrate

The coach then asked all the players to resume their practice while he brought Jessi to one side and negotiate. After a few minutes of interviewing, the coach then asked her his last question. "Do you have any other question?"

Jessi wasn't sure how to answer his question cuz her experience was one of the hell training and she was afraid that the people will not handle it. Moreover, training them will be waste her training. "Yes, I do have. But it's more like a request." Nin said. "While I gave them training, I would like to train with them, since most of my free time are doing workout and I don't like skipping them. "

"Are you sure you will not get in their way?" The coach questioned as he looked at her body, which looked normal to him.

"That will be the opposite. I want to know... are your boys strong enough that they won't get in MY way?" Jessi question back, which actually made him felt pissed, for some reason.

"Alright, I actually going to give them a drills later. If you like, would you like to join with them? if you can keep up with them, I'll let you to become their manager." The coach suggested.

I see, a test... Jessi thought. If she could keep up with the boys in the training, she would immediately become their manager. With this condition, she agree and get changed and joined with the rest of the boys. From what she observed, she will be practicing with the players that will be in the game, and the player were... Koji Kobori, Yoshitaka Moriyama, Mitsuhiro Hayakawa, Shinya Nakamura, Yukiko Kasamatsu and also, Kise Ryota.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE! Listen up!!! As you can see, we will have a new manager, who would like to see your skills. But today, she will be joining the drills with you all! Because SOMEONE... says that you boys will get in SOMEONE'S way. So today, I will triple your training!" Coach announcement made the boys went crazy. To them doing triple training is already in hell and it took alot of their time and stamina.

Jessi, who took a peek on the clipboard which the coach was holding. A basic workout like front squats, power lunges, chin-up, running and etc. In her mind was like... You got to be kidding me?! You call this alot?! That doesn't look much to me.

Everyone including Jessi get ready in their position in line, the coach placed the whistle to get ready to... "Three... Two... One.... "

PHWEET!!!!!

Two hour had passed... Everyone had almost passed out. Everyone had dropped dead on to the floor panting hard, sweating hard... Everyone except for Jessi, standing up firm and didn't make any difficulties in breathing. She still can go on, however when she see them already dropped down, she was disappointed but at least can train them. She looked at Kise, unlike the rest of them, he was the only one standing.

"Is that all, coach? " Jessi asked coach, who was surprised that everyone were on the ground tired except for her and Kise. He look through the list, every drills were ticked and tripled, he couldn't lie cuz if he did, he don't think that his team will not be able to come to practice from sore.

"Ye-yes, that's all of it. Y-you sure have the potential. You are passed to become the manager." the coach admitted defeat. "Tomorrow there will be no practice so you can come on the day after tomorrow, is it OK for you? "

The day after tomorrow is fine, she thought since she got some mission need to accomplish tomorrow. She nodded as she agreed with it. When she heard Kise calling her. "Congrats on becoming our manager, Jessicchi. We should celebrate."

The word 'celebrate' came out from his mouth suddenly remember her boss's advice. "If any of them invite you to hang out or celebrate during your non-mission time, just go, who knows there are some information leaking out from the walls. And also, enjoy and have fun while you still can."

"Senpai, you all are coming right?" Kise asked the rest of the team just as she was about to accept his offer.

"Nah, I need to head back home."

"Sorry, I need to go somewhere else."

"Maybe next time."

"I like to but...."

Everyone couldn't make it. Kise was a bit disappointed at their rejection. "Aww, oh well, maybe next time then. Or you want just the two of us? It will looks like we are on a date, don't you thin-"

Kise end up got headlock by Kasamatsu-senpai before he could finish his sentences. "Second thought, my plan is not a rush, we should celebrate just like you say."

"Yeah, the more the merrier."

"Actually, my plan is on tomorrow."

"I change my mind."

"What are you waiting for? Hurry up and get change.

"I thought you guys didn't want to-" Kise said.

"SHUT UP AND LETS GO!!!"

And so, they did... They went to the Maji burger and order some food. While Kise went to order, the rest of the boys began to have a conversation with Jessi. While she was talking, she realised that the leader didn't speak a single word and decided to try to make him speak up. But what? "You don't really talk much, Senpai. " Nin said.

"Ah! Er... Ye-yeah." again, he was blushing hard.

"Our leader..." Moriyama explained. "He always feeling shy in front of the pretty girls."

"Sh-shut up!" Kasamatsu exclaimed. "I- I'm not."

Jessi observed her senior behaviour. Blushing hard, ear scratching and avoiding eye contact. It is something that she always encounter when her target make a false information. She never knew that these behaviour have another meaning. Looks like she really has lots of new things to learn from them.

"I'm backsuu~ here are all the food you guys order." Kise came back with the food. All of the sudden, he placed a strawberry slush in front of Jessi.

Jessi was confused, although she wanted to have a taste of that sweet food but she didn't make the order. She looked at Kise with the confused expression on her face. Before she could say anything, Kise then said, "I saw you were looking at it so I decided to give you as my treat."

He sure was a weird guy Jessi thought. Not forget to thank him before taking a sip of the strawberry. The cold crushed ice send a frozen chill down to her throat, force her to make a clinge expression, followed by the feeling of pleasure with a smile on her face. What a bliss, the strawberry fill with sweetness and sourness with a little hint of mint taste. The combination was epic. Realising the boys were looking at her, "Something wrong?" she asked.

The boys answered nothing and and decided to keep that moment to themself.
