➵ Crescentwing's name symbolises her crescent-shaped claws. The name was suggested by Spokenwrites. The name Crescentclaw was considered, but scraped because the suffix was overused.

➵ Justice Seekers were created to show a skewed version of authority. It serves as a reminder that corruption can happen anywhere, and thinking you are always right will lead to your demise.

➵ EtherealClan was originally going to be equivalent to StarClan, but EonClan came to mind, and it was used for one of the two main Clans in the forest.

➵ The mountain the Justice Seekers reside at is a volcano. Hence, the heat.

➵ Vixen, the only she-cat in the Justice Seekers, was originally going to die by getting hit by bits of lava-hot rocks when the volcano erupted, but it was scraped due to the word limit.

➵ Alpha was originally going to die last, but it was switched to Vixen, as two she-cats facing off seems more interesting, and less cliché.

➵ Crescentwing felt close to no remorse when she murdered all members of the Justice Seekers, as she convinced herself that she saved more cats than she had killed.

➵ The tragedy of Runninggale's death was inspired by the idea of a tragic love story.

➵ The concept Fluffycloud's death was thought of first, but his death was not discussed in the first draft. The second draft, however, spoke of his death.

➵ Originally, Crescentwing was going to join the Justice Seekers and kill them in their sleep. However, the idea was scraped, and switched to Crescentwing discovering their hideout in the volcano through Fang, the youngest and most gullible member of the Justice Seekers.

➵ The Justice Seekers changed their names to appear more frightening, and to show that they have high authority, and are not bound to the Warrior Code.

➵ The story was originally going to show Crescentwing training, but due to the word limit, a time leap was used instead.

➵ Honeycreek was never planned to be Crescentwing's friend until the time leap came to mind.

Hello, readers! I decided to add a little something just for fun, and to give you an insight to my planning. As you can see, many original concepts were scraped and replaced with new ones. My plot could easily become a short story, but since it is a one-shot, I had to keep everything within the 4500-word limit.
