(Real) Chapter 9: Evan-fucking-happened

"Delirious!" Nogla called out as Delirious looked back and saw Nogla running towards him

"You know you can call me Jon when we're not recording, right?" Delirious chuckled

"Doesn't suit you" Nogla grinned and continued "Where are you going?"

"I don't know" Delirious shrugged, making Nogla raise an eyebrow at him

"Something wrong?"

'My best man who I haven't seen for three years suddenly tells me he still loves me and I was stupid enough to kiss him a few days before my wedding... Everything is so amazingly fine' Delirious groaned to himself as he ruffled his hair

"I'll take that as a yes" Nogla pouted

"Why do things always turn to shit?" Delirious growled more to himself than to Nogla

"What happened?" Nogla asked, worried that Evan did something and fucked up

"Evan. Evan-fucking-happened" Delirious huffed as he didn't have any bit of self control left to worry about who he says his problems too.

"What did Evan do?" Nogla cautiously asked

"NOTHING. He did absolutely fucking nothing" Delirious was now tugging at his already messy hair in his frustration

"But-- " Nogla started but was immediately interrupted by Delirious

"He did nothing four years ago when I liked him and he apparently fucking likes me back. He did nothing three years ago when I tried to contact him to fucking tell him that! And he did nothing a while ago when I fucking kissed him!" Delirious practically yelled out as Nogla was thankful that they were far enough from anyone else so that no one heard.

"Wait" Nogla mumbled as what Delirious just said processed in his head

"YOU WHAT?" Nogla yelled as his eyes were wide from the shock that Evan's plan had actually worked better and faster than they had expected. Delirious sighed, not bothering to respond. They stayed in total silence, each left to their own thoughts, and Nogla knew that this was the perfect moment to do his 'job'

"Jon..." Nogla started, cleared his throat and then continued "do you STILL like Evan?" Nogla asked, emphasizing still

"Do I look like I fucking know?" Delirious glared at Nogla

"Honestly? Yeah, kinda" Nogla shrugged back as Delirious felt his cheeks become a bit warmer

"You're not fucking helping, Nogla!" Delirious huffed out

"I wasn't trying to" Nogla laughed as Delirious' eye twitched

"Seriously though Jon, don't make a permanent decision when you have doubts in your head. If you're getting married, make sure you're sure that you're marrying the person you're sure you want to marry" Nogla said as he nodded along his words
