Chapter 10: Without Another Word

Delirious stretched his arms as the sunlight from the window woke him up. He had slept on the couch this time as he offered his room to Evan, Brian and Mini, while Nogla, Lui, Brock and Marcel took the guest room. As he rubbed his eyes, he could smell something delicious from the kitchen

"Who the fuck can cook?" Delirious mumbled to himself as he got up and went towards the kitchen

"Morning sleeping beauty" Evan chuckled as he saw Delirious come in

"Mornin..." Delirious yawned back as he sat down the dining table and looked over at what Evan was cooking

"Puncake!!" Evan cheered as if answering Delirious' unsaid question

"Puncake!" Delirious cheered along and continued "I didn't know you can cook"

"Wow Jon" Evan chuckled

"What bitch? You always just get your food delivered! And almost always do it while we're fucking recording" Delirious laughed from the memories on how they'd have to pause their games because Evan's pizza was there

"Hey! I learned how to atleast cook breakfast while I was away" Evan pouted, making Delirious laugh even more

"Anyway, I was thinking we could leave early so we can comeback sooner" Evan said as he finished up cooking

"I already know the place the band's gonna be at but I think the wedding reception they're going to be in is at noon" Delirious tried to recall what Cartoonz had said and what Riza had messaged him

"I guess that gives us just enough time to prepare and travel there" Evan said as Delirious nodded. Evan placed the plate of pancakes on the table along with some plates, utensils and ofcourse, maple syrup.

"Puncake!!!!" Delirious yelled once more as he got one and added a lot of syrup onto it

"Geez you're like a little kid" Evan laughed as Delirious was too busy drooling over his food to hear him

"So, Jon" Evan started as Delirious started eating

"About last night..." Evan continued as Delirious swallowed his pancakes along with his fear that Evan will bring up that topic

"I'm...I'm getting married" Delirious said, more to himself than to Evan

"Getting Jon, it means you're not yet married" Evan replied with ease, as if he's been practicing every bit of what he'll say. Delirious kept quiet as Evan took that opportunity to talk

"Why did you kiss me?" Evan asked, his serious eyes meeting Delirious' confused ones

"I'm not..." Delirious tried to start, fidgeted in his seat for a bit, then continued "I'm not sure... but maybe I just wanted to know--"
