Road to Become Alpha King

Chapter 2

I was brouth back by my two other betas, Mark and Jack asking me if I want to start the meeting. I made my way to the front of the podium to adresse myself to my pack members.

-“Wellcome everyone.”

-“Alpha”, everyone slightly bowed their head.

-“As you have heard the roughs have been lurking around our borders. I want the numbers of people patrolling to be doubled. We are the strongest and largest pack in the world and I want to keep it that way. Be careful on patrol I don’t want anyone to die. Did I make myself clear?”

-“Yes, Alpha.”

-“Good. You are all dismiss. Enjoy the rest of the night.” With that everyone began to walk out of the room. It was a very big room almost as big as a football field.

Before I could leave I saw the Elders of the pack fidgeting. They wanted to tell me something. In other pack Elders are the highest position because if they choose they can go against the Alpha with no consequence, but the Alpha is still the lider of the pack. My Elders have respect for me after the way I took my title and perhaps afraid of me so they never dare to question my decisions. I coundn’t take it anymore so I asked:

-“What?”

They looked at eachother then at me again still fidgeting. It was a bit amusing only small children fidger like that when they did something wrong.

-“You are acting like children. Speak.”

One of the Elders come forward. Elder Daniel is a man at 5 feet 8 with gray hait, strong face with a small scar near his left eye. He was one of the best warriors the pack had.

-“Next week is your 21st birthday, Alpha.” He looked at the other elders before speeking again. “You have transformed at a very young age and we are worried that you have not found you mate yet.” He stop speeking and looked into my eyes for the first time since he begin to speak with me.

-“What has my 21st birthday to do with my mate?” I asked intrigued.

-“I am sure that you are aware that after transformation a wolf takes one or at most two years to find his mate. He feels a pull towards they’re mate and has to go and find them. Is been almost 14 years since you transformed and you haven’t gone looking for her. We believe that you don’t have one or that she died if you didn’t find her yet. So we want to throw you a party, invite the other alphas and betas with they’re daughters so that you can choose your mate. You need a heir to made the pack stronger in case that something happens to you.” He wanted to continue with his speech but when he saw how angry I was he took a step behind knowing not to mess with me when I’m this angry.

I turned to my father, he was an elder too and asked;

-“Did you know about this?” he took a step behind startled by the venon in my voice.

-“Yes”, he simply said.

-“Do you not remember what I told you about my mate?” If before I didn’t have all the elders attention whem I said “my mate” all elders eyes were glued to me. I was still waiting for my father to answer to me.

-“You said << My mate knows me and she dind’t even meet me.>>, but you never told me what that meant.”

-“Father it means that I know who my mate is and that I talk with her. I knew who she was since I was 7. It is that hard to understand?” At this point all have the’re mouths hanging open. After a few minutes after what I said started to sink in they started to shoot questions at me.

-“You have meet her?”

-“Where is she?”

-“Why is she not with you?”

And so many other question but when I heard my mate speak to through our special mind link I growld at them to stop.

-“Liam”, she said softly.

-“Yes, my love. I am here.”I told her.

-“I found what we were looking. We are coming home.”

-“When do you get here?”

-“On your birthday”, I felt her smiling.

-“I love you, my little mate, my queen.”

-“I love you too, my king.”
