Cas was on his way to the bunker at about 3 pm. The boys wanted to celebrate the return of Mary, their mother, so they were holding a dinner party. Before he left his motel room he had taken a shower, which he still finds odd, and he put on his best shirt and trench coat. He left the room and started walking towards his "pimpmobile" as Dean called it. As he opened the door of the vehicle he realized he had forgotten his tie."Shoot." Meg always said she'd liked him better in a tie. He left the door to his car open and ran inside to get his best tie. Well, the only one without blood stains. He then left the room for the second time, and finally was able to get into his car. Castiel had memorized the rout to the Bunker, and it was easy for him to get there. He never turned on his radio though, because the concept of music just seemed utterly distracting. It took exactly 22056724 seconds to drive to the bunker. Counting every second gave Cas something to do while he drives down the mostly empty road. He knew that Dean would naturally be playing music from whatever Metallica is, or possibly AC/DC, but Cas still didn't understand why Dean liked the sound of electric currents.
As Castiel walked into the bunker, he greeted Dean with a hug, which Dean returned without hesitation."Haha, hi Cas." Dean had said. Then Sam, and finally Mary. "Castiel. It's been a while since we've talked" He and Mary had a connection because of their lack of current earth knowledge. Castiel thought that they would be the only ones at dinner, although he kept glancing towards the door, half expecting to see Charlie walking through the doors, all smiles and red hair. Her death still pained him even though he didn't have as strong of a connecting with her as the boys did. Just as Cas had settled down at the table to conversate with his friends, Crowley appeared. No doubt he decided to just poof himself in with a snap of his fingers. Crowley was honestly just a nuisance. He always showed up at the worst times, when he certainly was not needed or wanted. "Hello boys." He exclaimed. "Oh, and Castiel." Cas felt a pang of anger towards the King of Hell. "Crowley." He snapped. Crowley smiled and walked up to Mary, taking her hand in his. "I don't believe we've met my dear." He kissed her hand and she pulled it away from him. "My name is Crowley. The King of Hell." He bowed then, and Cas couldn't help but feel slight jealousy. He didn't know why, but he wanted to know how to make it stop. "I was under the impression that you were just some crossroads demon." Mary smiled sarcastically at him. Crowley's eyes flashed red, which made Cas inhale sharply, and the boys both jumped up. "Woah, woah Crowley" Sam said. "Mom, Crowley stepped up a few ranks since you've been gone." Dean jumped in. Castiel stood up and walked over to Crowley. "Crowley I need you to fix your eyes and watch you anger levels." "Why darling. Do my red eyes get you all flustered?" Crowley asked sarcastically, but Castiel couldn't help but blush at his words. Crowley gave him a confused look. More surprised than confused actually. Cas whipped around quickly to see how much of that the boys had caught, but luckily, they were preoccupied with their mother. He went over to his previous seat and sat.
