ALEXA'S POV

I was running through the woods.. Even though my feet is aching..'we have to rest' my wolf said..
"We have no time to rest.. They'll catch us" I reply to her..

No one expected me to run away.. But I have no choice..
My Alpha from the Midnight Moon Pack..Alpha Damon..He is 40 years of age and haven't found his mate ..

Well the craziest thing is he wants me to MARRY him..

I'm only 18..for fucking sakes..I will not marry a man twice my age..and his not even my mate..

So I had no choice but to run away...
After couple of hours.. I shifted in my human form and sat behind a tree catching my breath..I pulled out a sweater out of my back pack and put it on..

I looked up at the sky, No clouds could be seen just stars and the moon shining bright as ever..

"Why?why moon goddess?".. Asking the moon goddess why would this cruel thing happen to me..

I flashed back as I remember the scenes hours ago..

Earlier....

" Alex!..the Alpha is looking for you"..Jade my bestfriend stated as she tries to catch up on my run.

Jade and I grew up together since we were 3, practically we consider each other as sisters.

"Well tell him that he can come and find me!".. I disgustingly said..
" Don't talk to our alpha like that"..Jade whispered..

"Why wouldn't I.. He's an old fucking pervert and...." Jade suddenly covers my mouth..

"Are you even thinking!!?..he'll kill you!! If he heard that!!".. I just rolled my eyes at her

We head home and gone to the living room..
" Good evening Ladies "..I was shock by that voice..
" Alpha Damon!?..What brings you here?"..I shockingly said..

"Have a seat , and we'll talk about something".. My dad said with an exciting voice as he pats the seat beside him..Jade and I sat down..

" As you can see Alexandra I haven't found my mate..well maybe I don't really have a mate.."....I cut him off

"So what are you saying?".. He glared at me..I just bowed my head for respect not putting myself on his bad side.

"All I want to say is..I want you to marry me".. Silence covered the room..I'm still shock of what Alpha Damon said..

I was going to say something but.." We had it planned already"..my Dad said..

"But dad Alpha Damon is twice as my age..and he's not even my mate".. I defended.."As the Beta I'm making the best decision for the pack..it can't be run without a Luna!".. I was even more shock at what my father has told me..

"What about my Mate?!"..I ask stopping the tears that was about to come out..

"He'll understand.. And I won't let him get you..I'll lock you up if necessary"..he answered not caring what his daughter thinks.

" Tomorrow's the wedding..The earlier the Better..so we have time to make pups"..Alpha Damon excitedly said..

I was cussing inside my head..I don't want to marry him..Even my own dad won't side me..

I excused myself and head to my room..

"What will you do!!?".. Jade suddenly walked inside my room.
" I- I don't know!!"..I stutter while talking..with tears already flowing in my eyes..

"I want to run!!Escape from all of this!!I know I'm just being coward but I don't want to end up his wife!!I have my Mate out there !!"...I nervously said..

" I understand..and I want to help you..tonight everyone will be busy..you will have a chance of escaping"..Jade said with hope in her eyes..

"How about you?!".. I worriedly asked  her.." Don't worry about me..Hey,You're forgetting who I am "..she said with a weak yet reassuring smile..

We end our conversation with a hug..And bid our goodbye's and proceed to our plan..

End Of Flashback

I didn't notice that I was already crying..I wipe my tears away and put my sweater inside my bag and shift into my wolf. Dirty white colored fur grew out of my body, bones cracking as they form my body.

I started running ..never even looking back to where I came from..and heading into the unknown..Not thinking what will the fate bring me...
