Her eyes scanned the pages, and then Chamenos who floated before her. She only had one chance, even Eleanor wanted this. "Chamenos." She read out loud. "He who wonders isn't lost. She who dreams isn't asleep." How beautiful. She held back a tear. Max had been wondering for many years, now. And she had been dreaming for as long as she could remember. She dreamed of a first kiss that was more romantic than the one she had ended up with. She dreamed of traveling far beyond Kalos - of meeting the kind-hearted older sister who had helped her over the phone, of seeing Ash again, of falling asleep under Unovan stars. She was seven years old, again, running down the pathway to paradise, leaping over the pieces of broken hearts as they got in her way. No. This story would have a happy ending.

Destiny. Fate. Things that were bound by the sky and the galaxies. She didn't regret running away, anymore. She was destined to disappear. She was destined to become Blossom. She was destined to meet Max - it was all the work of the heavens woven. The pages were turning - Bonnie was here. Seventeen, but she had grown more in the past few weeks than her entire life in Lumiose City with Clemont and her parents. The forces of the world had called upon her to stop Team Lumière, in a way without fighting or hurt. If she hadn't have left her old life behind that day, if she had never have worn the mask of the shy, lonely Blossom, Kalos would still be falling apart. Eleanor would still be Nova, and Alabaster wouldn't be Jake. Bonnie would have never been Blossom, but she would have remained unhappy and depressed, and the region would be run by zombie mind-slaves.

She would have never met Max, the one boy who had been there for her no matter what. The boy she had vowed to remain friends with, but had slowly started to fall for. And now, he needed her more than she had ever needed him. His charm was his mind, and she refused to let him lose it.

"Minds broken, hearts shattered. Can we undo what has been done?" It had taken hours to find the right page with the words she needed to say on it. But here it was. This wasn't the end - far from it. "Let us grow old as we are, wake the souls from their unfair slumber. We shall be reborn." She took in steady breaths. Chamenos' eyes opened.

"Cham-cham?"

"It worked!" Dedenne was in her bag, along with all of her other Pokémon. She truly was shining as bright as the sun. "Chameons, what Nova was doing wasn't right. Come with me! We're gonna put a stop to it.

And as she rode her loyal Skiddo to Lumiose City, once more. The police were arriving from other regions. They were making their way back to Anistar, to probably investigate the Lumière base. She stopped and recalled Skiddo. "Hello, officer-" She was slightly out of breath.

"That's a Lumière uniform, stop right there!" The woman ordered.

"Yes, it is! I know, I wanna help!"

"Well, alright." What accent was that? Sinnoh, perhaps? "I'm Officer Jenny of Sunnyshore City." Yes, Sinnoh. "And you?"

"I'm Bonnie, I'm an ex-member of Team Lumière. It was founded by a woman named Eleanor, who went by Nova." She waited for the turquoise-haired lady to give her a supportive nod before continuing. "We all went by code names, mine was Blossom. "Bonnie's nerves were starting to wear off. "Nova knew about an ancient book, this Pokémon-" she pointed to Chamenos hovering in close proximity to her. "-Is Chamenos, the creature in the book. A friend of mine from Hoenn-"

"I'll need his name and age." she was interrupted, again.

"Max Maple, eighteen and from Petalburg City." She was confident in her answer. She spoke clearly and with passion and vigor. "Chamenos has the power to control the minds of the entire region. Nova harnessed that power after Max awakened Chamenos due to the power he held-"

"What power?"

She dug around in her bag and found The Anistar Chronicle, "Here. This power." She steadied herself. "It's all in that book. And now, Nova regrets what she has done and gave me the book. I used it to snap Chamenos out of the trance it was in. Now Chamenos needs to see Max, the one who summoned it, for things to return to normal."

She was fascinated and had to stop herself from flicking through the book in her hands right there and then. "Thank-you so much. Honestly, I can't thank you enough. Bonnie, was it?" The teenager nodded. "Is that where you were riding your Skiddo to? Where Max is?"

"Yes, Lumiose Tower, my big brother's gym."

Her eyes widened. "Clemont? Clemont is your brother?"

"Yes, and I haven't seen him in far too long."

"Get in my patrol car, I'll get you there twice as fast."

The elevator just couldn't move quickly enough. "You ready to see Max, again, Chamenos?"

"Cham-cham-menos!" It was an adorable, little bug type. How could something so tiny have so much power? It was a bit like her, somebody so young who had made such a big difference. She had saved the future of Kalos before she had even turned eighteen. She was proud of herself, to say the least.

This was it. The doors flew open, both Chamenos, Bonnie and Dedenne in her bag rushed to the sleeping young man from Petalburg City. Bonnie almost chuckled, ignoring her brother and running to the cute guy, how very 'her'. She knelt beside him. Chamenos closed its eyes and chanted. "Cham-cham-menos! Cham-cham-menos!" Dedenne leaped out of the bag  and perched over Max, "Den-den?"

Max's eyes fluttered open. Bonnie gushed over them. She just really liked everything about them. "My glasses! My glasses! Where are my glasses?" was the first thing he said. Bonnie laughed and picked them up off of the floor.

"Here." She handed them to him, still chuckling. "So that's what I get for saving your sorry self from enslavement?" He sat up. She hugged him tightly, "I'm so happy you're here." Max, still a little bit confused and sure as hell flustered, returned her embrace. Dedenne looked at the two of them and knew exactly what was going on between them. They liked each other. They SO liked each other!

"Bonnie!" That voice didn't belong to Max. "Bonnie, is it really you?" Clemont (very unathletically) jumped to his feet and dashed over to her. She went red and separated from Max immediately. She stood up.

"Clemont?" She was crying.

"Bonnie!" He threw her into a hug. "I thought I would never see you again. Bonnie!" He was crying, too. "Max came to the gym, he knew he would find me here. He told me absolutely everything." His blue eyes still watery, he extended a hand and helped Max off of the floor. "I-I really want to thank you, young man."

Bonnie watched them shake hands. "So that's why you were here, Max."

Everyone stared at Chamenos, its future was uncertain now. "Has it been caught?" Clemont admired the black markings on its tiny, winged, red body.

"No," Max answered. "No, it hasn't."

Bonnie got an idea. She looked in her bag for something. She found it. "Here, Max." She handed him the MasterBall from the factory in Laverre Town.

"Chamenos, would you like to train with me?" Max asked.

"Cham-cham! Cham-cham!" was all the response he needed; he threw the ball. It stopped shaking after it had only done it once.

Max picked up the ball. "Thank-you so much for everything you've done, Bonnie." His cheeks tinged the slightest shade of red. It then occurred to Bonnie that he still didn't know about how she had kissed him. She bit her lip - she could tell him about that later when Clemont wasn't there.

She was home, again. Kalos was back to normal, people were waking up, as they were when they had falllen asleep.

"And thank-you, Max," Clemont practically glowed, "for bringing my little sister back home."
