Chapter thirteen A ballroom blitz the Lightside

This is part one of the finale of season one

It has been a full week since all team rwby found out about yang & Jaune dating

With that came no shortage of annoying questions from Ruby

And intrigue from Blake

But none of that matters for tonight is the night yang has been waiting for months

The school dance

Yang & Jaune are sitting around in team jnpr's room

A little while before her & Jaune have to get ready for the dance

Yang" hey ya there loverboy

Yang said to Jaune
With a loving & excited tone in her voice

Jaune" I think this is gonna be the best night ever
He said with A nerdier tone in his voice

Yang" I know right

Yang pulled him into A kiss that only lasted for a second

Yang"well let's start getting ready

Ruby's perspective

Ruby" do I really need to wear these? I can hardly balance
With them

Weiss" yes they complete the dress now stop complaining I got you the best pair I could find

They were blood red 4 inch healed stilettos

Of which Ruby's dress matched

While Weiss wore the same long black dress she wore on Ruby and hers first date

With 6 inch heeled black stilettos

After putting on their makeup

They started to head to the ballroom

As they arrived
They met up with Blake in a purple long dress
& sun with his dress shirt completely unbuttoned leaving his bear chest exposed

Sun" how are ya doing there Ruby & Weiss you ladies look amazing

At this Blake playfully punched him in the arm

Sun" what was that for Blake
He said as he let out a groan of pain

Blake" nothing let's go dance a little before the floor gets too crowded

Blake's thoughts
(That bastard should only be complementing me)

Sun" ok then let's go

Out of the corner of Ruby's eye
She saw yang and Jaune walking in

Than they walked up to her & Weiss

Yang" Hey ya you guys how are you enjoying the dance so far

Ruby" oh we only just got here

Yang" will OK then you two Lovebirds have fun than me and loverboy here are going to dance

Weiss thoughts(I never wanted to bitch slap someone more than right now)

Ruby" well baby you want to go to dance since everyone else is doing it

Weiss" why yes I would love to dance with you Ruby

A slow song kicked up on the stereo

Weiss had her arms around Ruby's waist
And Ruby had hers around
Weiss neck

As they looked into each other's eyes the moment seem to last forever

Then Breaking the eye contact Ruby pulled Weiss into A super passionate kiss

The song then ended

As Ruby and Weiss walked off the dance floor

A fast song started playing

Jaune's perspective

Jaune's thoughts

(Oh my Monty they're playing
Kill the lights by set it off
I love this song Time to impress my Princess)

He quickly signaled all of his teammates to join him on the dance floor

Their choreography was on fire

Moving in perfect rhythm

Yang's thoughts

(That's my lover boy for ya
Always doing the coolest of stuff)

We finish the song
And everyone disbursed back to what they were doing before

I casually walk back up to Yang

Yang" you were amazing out there she said as she pulled them into A loving kiss

Ruby's perspective

As jnpr finished their dance I overheard
a dark-haired girl talking about taking out the Communications tower I waited a minute and then ducked out to follow her
