I tossed my journal down after hearing Bella call my name. I ran to the door and made it out into the hallway right as she made around the corner in The small three bedroom home .
"Yes, Sweet sister of mine ." I say while smiling . Bella shakes her head smiling at my innocent look.
"We both know that you didn't pack ,Come get in the kitchen I cooked so It should be edible ." She says as she turns down the hallway towards the living room that connects to the kitchen .
"You know Bells one of these days mom is going to hear you insult her experimental cooking skills." We both laugh . Renee My adoptive mother has no cooking talent what so ever and me and bells usually try to avoid our mothers cooking . I remember when I first was adopted by Renee she wanted to cook us a meal to welcome me to the family . I realize now it was more of a right of passage everyone in the family must at some point in time endure her cooking .
"Oh , I am sure mom knows already ." she says with wince knowing it might actually hurt her feelings so she drops the topic. "So Eiyla are you nervous with it being your last year ." She ask sadly as we walk into the kitchen .
"I know It is gonna be a bit more difficult but I really want this , But I will admit I feel bad for leaving you a year early ." Smiles sadly as she sets the table .
"So I have been thinking I might take online college classes to be close to you until you graduate ." Bella clatters a plate and sits kind of shocked .
"No you shouldn't do that , With how good your grades are you have a better chance getting into an arts college I can't be responsible for ruining your dream Eiyla ."I sigh when she finishes.
I walk over to her and grab her by the chin and look her in the eye. " College will be there when I am ready , Plus I am not just doing this for you ." Bella raises an eyebrow in confusion .
Before she can ask I explain ."One I need a break from learning and the constant work grind I have been so busy since high school started , Did you know because how busy I am that I have never been properly kissed by a guy or been a date for that matter ." I sit on the chair by her. " I mean I am starting to feel like a robot , you know how the band has gigs sometime we party or go out after I never can because I always have to work on my shop or school work ." I look down at the table sadly for a minute . "Bells ." I look her in the eye . "I just need a break."
Bella rubs my shoulder as Renee walks into the kitchen Phil right behind with a huge smile on his face. I give smile as they come in . The look so happy together I have never seen such a happy couple. It does remind me how Charlie doesn't have anyone I hope he finds someone some day he deserves a second chance.
After dinner I went upstairs and packed my things . You see me and Bella have to different packing styles . I pack everything I own because I don't have a set style Bells has always told me that I have the wardrobe of someone with multiple personalities . So I have to pack everything cause who know how I will feel dressing that day .
