Chapter 2:Trapped

CODY'S POV*

I went through to the bunk Sam was in and woke her up. "Wake up" I said coldly. I shook her lightly which made her groan. I chuckled a little. My face went straight. "Get up!" I yelled not realising how loud I had actually said it. "Cody calm down!" Maxx said pushing me away. "Come on Sam get up" he said shaking her lightly. She slowly got up from her bunk and Maxx untied her hands. "We need to make sure you won't escape" I said holding a pair of handcuffs. She simply nodded and held her hands behind her back. I put the cuffs on her and she sighed. We walked through to the living area. "Hey Sam, sleep well?" Zach asked her. She shook her head. She sighed again.
"Sam we need to talk to you" I said sitting her down on the couch. "We have to drop you off at Maxx's, that's the only place we know you can be safe, I have Shay at my house Dan has Tamera and Zach has Skye" I said trying to explain why she can't go to any of ours. "We're nearly here" Maxx said pointing out the window. "Yeah, here we are" He said again. I lead Sam out of the bus and into Maxx's. I took her straight upstairs and showed her where she would be staying.  "This is your new room. The room was plain with white wall paper, a bed and a table with a lamp next to the bed. She nodded and I took her back downstairs.
"You wanna take a shower?" Maxx asked her. She nodded and went upstairs.

SAM'S POV*

I went upstairs into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and waited for my desired temperature. I stripped and got into the shower. Feeling the warm water hit off my back felt really good. I washed my hair and body then got out. I heard a knock at the door. "Sam, you out yet?" It was Maxx. "Y-yes" I said softly. "I brought you some clothes" I went over and opened the door standing in a towel. He looked at me for a second then handed me my clothes. A pair of sweats, a t-shirt and boxers. "We didn't have any ladies underwear" he said blushing. "T-that's fine" I whispered looking at the floor. He left me to get dressed I put on everything then went downstairs. I could hear Cody. "Guys we need to get rid of her" he said harshly. "Cody, fuck sake we can't kill her" I think it was Dan. "Why not!" He whisper yelled. I walked into the room. "Y-you wanna k-kill m-me" I said shocked. I felt a tear running down my cheek. Cody looked shocked that I had heard him. "No, we don't" Zach said death staring Cody. Cody looked at his feet then got up and pushed past me. I ran after him. I grabbed his arm. "What do you mean you need to get rid of me" I was annoyed. "I mean I never wanted to take you in the first place, we don't want you here" he said breaking free from my grasp. Was I really that bad? "Why do you have to be such a huge dick!" I shouted while he walked away. "What did you call me you worthless piece of shit!" He yelled as he cocked his arm back. When I didn't get hit I looked up to see Maxx standing in front of me. "Cody! No!" He said grabbing Cody's arm. "She started it!" He said looking at me. "Well I'm finishing it!" Maxx shouted back. Cody pulled away from Maxx. "Don't touch me!" He spat at Maxx. Maxx sighed and turned to me. "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" I shook my head and buried it into his chest. I felt his big strong arms wrap around me. He kissed my forehead. I smiled and pulled away wiping a tear that just fell from my eye. "It's been a long day. Go get some rest. I'll be up in a minute to check on you" he said holding me at arms length. I nodded and went upstairs. I climbed into bed and stared at the white ceiling. A few minutes later Maxx came into the room. "I had a talk with Cody, he wants to apologise for what he did and said" He said while sitting on the edge of the bed. I nodded and sighed. "Goodnight Sam" he said as he walked over to the door. "Wait" I said just before he left. "What?" He asked softly. "This is gonna sound weird, but umm...can u tell me a story?" I asked and he laughed. "How old are you?" He said still laughing. I laughed too " I already told you, I'm 17" I said laughing again. "And I turn 18 in 2 days" I smiled. He smiled too. "What story do you wanna hear?" I shrugged.
"I don't know" he sighed. "I have a good idea. Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess called Sam, one day she was walking through the fields in her garden. Then she came across a pond that she hadn't seen before. She put her finger in it and it turned out the pond was made of acid and she died. The End!" He smiled. "That was horrible!!!" I punched his arm lightly. "Goodnight Sam!" He smiled as he left the room. "Goodnight!" I shouted back. I shut my eyes and before I knew it I was asleep.
