The message that changed a life

I stared at my phone, I waited a minute before I opened it, I didn't really know him, what could he want?
I opened it, he wanted me to trial, a lot of emotions ran through my body within seconds, I was so happy and excited, but then I was scared and nervous too.
"Mum!" I shouted down the stairs. I could hear her walking up the stairs quite quickly, maybe she thought something was wrong. " I've been offered to trial for the new boy band roadtrip, there is one guy on trial already, it looks like he's really getting to know them boys? Do you think I could try it out? "
"Oh wow, I thought something was wrong! Of course you can darling, it's such an opportunity, but we need to message , eeerr , what's his name back!"
I laughed, "He's called Blair mum, Blair Dreelan , he was in a band too, East 17 we have quite a drive to London from here though mum!"
-"As I said before, who cares about the drive, it's a big opportunity, go for it! Message Blair back straight away!"
-"Thanks mum" I said. "I owe you one!" I thought for a minute, doing this could change my life. My thoughts were interrupted with my mum talking -"Helloooo? Brooklynnn?" She said in a boring sort of way.
"Oh yeah, sorry mum" I said reassuringly.
"Oh, it's okay, come on let's do this! Message Blair back will you?" She said excitedly.
