Hey guys.
I just want to let you know that it's been a while (a real long while) since I last wrote and want to apologize if it's bad. My writing skills are pretty rusty after all.
Anyway, enjoy!

The sun's shadow cast over the intimidating huge building. The bird's harmonic chirps seemed to sound more like a crow's caw; the beautiful glowing field looking more like a graveyard. I nervously gulped and ignored the deathly chills running down my spine, trying to calm my racing heart. I became more and more hesitant the closer my steps were going towards the school and secretly praying to not have to go inside, knowing it would be in vain.
"Hey kiddo! What's gotten you so tense all of a sudden?" A voice asked as a rough pat on the back was greeted after, snapping me out of my thoughts. I looked to my right to see the body guard who was for some reason assigned to protect me from when I stepped out of my house to when I enter the school building. I never understood why I had to get a body guard to guide me to my new hell hole, but I didn't bother asking.
Something that did catch my eye about the man was his bright green eyes and messy brown hair that didn't even looked brushed. He held my luggage in his free hand that wasn't annoyingly resting on my right shoulder.
"Um.... Just very nervous..." I lied. Nervous was more of an understatement. Terrified mostly fit the term I was looking for.
He chuckled in response and removed his annoying hand from my shoulder. "There's nothing to be nervous about! It's just like your average school, minus the high level of security, rich building, snobby rich students and teachers...." He trailed off
I could feel my pulse increase by the second thinking about the possibilities that could happen to me just by those few words. Bullying could be even more worse and they could possibly try to kick me out just because I got in by scholarship. It's happened every time I had to transfer schools because of my parents jobs.
The next thing I knew, I found myself standing at the front entrance with my luggage in my hands. The body guard was still next to me and with his annoying hand now resting on my left shoulder, but he too seemed a little hesitant on letting me go through the large entrance doors.
Possibly because he knew what might happen to me once I go through them.
"You know what kid? I lied. This school is really different from your average school; actually from any other school." He said. I already knew from the start, but I still continued to listen anyway. "But I do have a feeling you might make your last two years of high school here memorable and a fun experience."
My nervousness seemed to calm down by his encouraging words and filled me with a little bit of confidence.
"And you'll most likely survive this school. After all, you're a boy going to an all boy's academy! You'll most likely fit in perfectly!" He exclaimed.
My heart nearly skipped a beat. I managed to make out a forced, quick laugh before worry almost devoured my whole being.
With another quick, harsh pat on my back that almost sent me falling face first onto the concrete and a quick goodbye from the man I never got the name of, I felt like I could get a heart attack if I were to take another step.
"..... But I'm a girl....."
