"There he is." His beautiful brown eyes, brown luscious hair, perfect bright smile! "It's official . Elena Cruz, you have gone mad." My best friend Sofia said. "Hey it's not my fault he's so perfect." Seriously. The definition of perfect would be: Evan Garcia. All the girls have a crush on him. Including me! I just don't show it. Only to Sofia. "Sooner or later your gonna have to talk to him.
"Hmmmmm. Let me think. I think I'll choose LATER.
"Alright your choice."
"Thank you."
"So you wouldn't mind if I just went up to him and asked him out would you?"
"Don't you dare do that to me. Do you know how badly that can ruin my chance with him?!
" Calm down I'm just messing with you. Plus I already have my eyes set on another boy.

"Wait what?! You never told me that you had a crush!" "Yep. It's because I have figured out that he is my crush just this morning." Sofia said. "It's official. Sofia Cortez, you have gone mad." We burst out laughing. This is why Sofia is my best friend. We understand each other and we help each other out. It's a friendship that no one can brake. Okay Elena probably a little too cheesy. Hey it's the truth though. " When will I ever have the courage to go up to him and just say 'Hey do you like me?' Instead of just keeping my head down when I'm around him?"

"Don't worry. You just need some more time. Unlike me. Whenever I see a boy that I like, I go up to him and tell him straight up that I like him.

"So you're telling me that you are going to tell your crush that you like him? Yay! You go girl!

"Shut up."

Ring! Ring!  " That's the bell. Gotta go!" Sofia said before she dashed to Spanish class.

"Bye." I do NOT feel like going to science class today. Actually, come to think of it, I kinda do want to go because my crush will be there. SQUEEEEE!!!

After class

OMG! OMG! OMG! Evan was so cute in science today. The only bad thing was that little-miss-perfect kept on trying to flirt with him. UGGHHH!! Oh wait. Sorry my mistake. She's not perfect, she's the exact OPPOSITE. I just gave her that nickname because she ACTS like she's perfect when in reality, that girl is a hot mess! Celeste (that's her name) always has her hair up in the Ariana Grande style (it's always crooked), her nails are always painted blue (I don't know why), and she wears clothes that should be illegal at school. Just saying. She might as well just go to the club.

At lunch

"Hey Sofia, did you talk to your crush today?"

"Nah."

"Why not? I thought that you're the brave one out of the both of us." I said while laughing.

"I am the brave one. It's just that I didn't get to see him in Spanish today."

"Oh that's why you bolted to her classroom."

"Duh. Why else?"

I just kept on laughing.

" Oh did you hear about the big rumor?" Sofia asked.

"What rumor?"

"The rumor about how Evan and Celeste are going out."

At that point, my heart felt like it just broke into a million pieces.

"Oh and did you also hear that they made a pact to never brake up until they go to high school. Probably still gonna be together even then." Sofia said, not helping.

"What! How could this happen?! I thought he didn't like her. He always calls her fake. What is going on with the universe right now?"

"Not sure but as your best friend I promise to be there for you whenever you see them in the halls making out."

"Sofia you are not helping like at ALL."
Ring! Ring! "Sorry it's my time to shine. I'll see you on the bus.

We can talk about it more then." Sofia yelled as she ran to her next period. Her crush is probably in her next class. Except, he's absent. Why would she be happy about going to math? Maybe she lied to me about her crush being absent so she can get out of the situation. Sofia would be the one to do that. Ring! Ring! Oh shoot. That's the late bell! I hope those rumors aren't true because if they are, I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
