UGHH I groan as i hear my alarm sound. today was the first day of sophomore year and as you can tell not really that excited to go. the only thing that motivates me to get out of bed is being able to see all my friends again. its not that i didnt hang out with them over the summer but its different when you go back to school, like you are able to see them every single day, you get me.

well anyway i go into my closet and take out my uniform cuz you know me living that private school life yall. many people always tell omg your soooo rich cuz you go to private school and that certainly isnt the case. well i mean i aint poor or anything, like my parents have good jobs and stuff its just we aint filty lottery money rich. okay so i go to a nice private school because i got a scholarship to play volleyball there.

i started playing volleyball like right out of the womb like no joke. Both my mom and dad played college volleyball so you know of course it was destined for me to play volleyball. my mom coaches a club volleyball team called the maui waves. so since i was very little she would take me along and started teaching me at a very young age. both of my parents were setters all their life so my mom had started training me as a setter. but at the age of 8 i didnt really like the setter position anymore, i knew it would break my mom and dads hearts but it just wasnt what i saw myself doing. i had told my mom and she did look a little sad but you know she got it. she had told me that before she beacame a setter she was an outside hitter and she didnt really like that position so she desided to switch and thats how she became an amazing setter.

that same night i had gone to the usc vs hawaii state volleyball game. hawaii state had an amazing libero that would seriously go for every single ball and was amazing at it. at that moment i thought to my self that it would be pretty cool if i was able to do that. and that is when i set my goal . my goal was to play at hawaii state as a libero. so i started working reallt hard to get better as the libero and as years procressed i became one of the best liberos in my age group and to this day i play on my highschool teams varsity team as a libero.

okay so anyway back to my morning rush. i had thrown on my uniform and had undid the braid i i did in the night. i really like when i put my hair in a braid at night beacsue when i wake up and take it off it makes these amazing waves in my long brunette hair. i then put on my shoes and walked down the stairs into the kitchen. as i walked into the kitchen i saw both my older and little brother sitting at the table getting waffles. as soon as i saw the waffles my eyes lit up. as you can kinda guess waffles are my absolute favorite.

DUDE TALIA YOU BETTER HURRY UP AND EAT YOUR WAFFLES OR WERE GONNA BE LATE FOR SCHOOL SAID MY OLDER BROTHER ZACH.

CALM DOWN DUDE I STILL HAVE 15 MINUTES

WELL JUST LETTING YOU KNOW, IT THE FIRST DAY OF SENIOR YEAR SO KINDA WANNA START THE YEAR OF WITH NOT BEING LATE.

knowing that zach would be pretty pissed if we were late i took my waffle to go and put all my supplies in my backpack. i walked over to zachs car and put my stuff in the front seat. when i was about to sit down i felt like i was forgetting something.

TALIA TALIA !! MY LITTLE BRO JACOB YELLED, RUNNING TOWARD ME

YOU FORGOT YOUR PHONE ON THE KITCHEN TABLE, HE SAID HANDING ME MY PHONE

THANKS LITTLE DUDE I WOULD HAVE DIED WITHOUT THIS, I LET OUT A LITTLE LAUGH.

NO PROBLEM SIS, HAVE A FUN DAY AT SCHOOL HE SAID AS HE WALKED TOWARD THE HOUSE.

i knew i was forgetting something but of course my little brother always comes in clutch. mom and dad kept walking toward me , knowing i had forgotten to say goodbye to then hehe.

WELL WELL WELL MISSY TRYING TO LEAVE ON YOUR FIRST DAY WITHOUT EVEN SAYING BYE TO YOUR AMAZING PARENTS , SAID MY MOM.

OPPS SORRY I FORGOT, I LET OUT A LITTLE SMILE , ITS JUST ZACH KEPT RUSHING ME SO I JUST GOT A LITTLE DISTRATCTED SORRY.

ITS ALRIGHT BUD JUST COME OVER HERE AND GIVE ME AND YOUR MOM A HUG

I MEAN I GUESS I SAID SARCATICALLY AS I WALKED OVER TO THEM.

i gave them both a kiss and took a seat in the front seat to see zach "patiently waiting ".
