It must have been at least 30 minutes before Sophia had mustered the courage to come back out of the toilet cubicle.

She slid to the floor before un bolting the lock, making sure there was no girls around; no one needed to see her in this state.

Satisfied that she was alone, Sophia slipped out of the blue cubicle, walking up to the mirror above the line of sinks.

"Thank God I bought make up" Sophia sniffled, pulling out her make up wipes, removing the thick black lines trickling down her face.

After 5 minutes of reapplying eyeliner, mascara and a small amount of concealer to cover up her puffy eyes, she took a deep breath and exited the bathroom

The clock on the hall wall read 15:10.

'Only 10 more minutes till I can go home and cry'

Sophia thought to herself as she stuffed her hands in her parka coat pockets, stalking down the hallway angrily.

How could she be so stupid?

She knew boys like Niall were no good, so why did she let him get in her head?

Why couldn't he leave her mind?

More importantly, why couldn't she hate him?

No matter how hard Sophia tried to hate him; imagining him with Scarlett, laughing at her run away, kissing her as if the past night hasn't happened.

But she couldn't.

Nothing she could say or do would change her mind.

She had fallen for Niall in a matter of hours, and she already regretted it.

And there was nothing anyone could do to change-

"Ow! Look out would you?!" Sophia groaned as her body hit the ground, eyes locked on the feet of whoever had knocked her down.

"I'm so sorry, here let me help you" a smooth calming voice spoke, a hand extended down seconds later, which she gladly excepted.

The smooth, yet strong arm pulled her up off the ground to come face to face with her helper.

His short, black hair styled up into a quiff.

Leather jacket and jeans matched with glasses giving his nerdy stance a rocky looking tone.

His hazel eyes staring straight into hers.

"Are you okay?" the unbelievably attractive stranger asked, worry creasing his spotless forehead.

"Y-yeah, sorry, just a little stunned" Sophia blushed furiously at his question

The mystery boy chuckled, making Sophia smile for the first time all day.

"I am really sorry though" his eyes looked full of regret; his lop-sided smirk saying otherwise

"It's fine..."

"Oh!" he put his hand out for her to shake "I'm Zayn, and you are?"

"Sophia. My names Sophia" she smiled, taking his hand back in hers.

'God his hands were soft.'

"Thank you I guess?" Zayn chuckled, looking down at their hands

'Shit, did I say that out loud?'

"Yes you did, and that as well" Zayn let out a rumbling belly laugh, the smell of cigarettes and mints reaching her nose.

"Oh crap, I sound like a right freak" Sophia rolled her eyes, putting her hands back in her parka
